    Motor Oil weight question

I use 15W-40 but only use my tractors in Summer. I would use 5W-40 if also using in colder weather, though it seems like it would not make any meaningful difference.

Will a Lewis Land Lugger 38Q front loader fit a Kubota L3600 compact tractor?

E-Bay listing says it will fit Kubota L3250. Fit Kubota L3600? .......dunno!

    Inverter generator

I have that EXACT same generator for backup here in Florida. Have only used it twice in ten years, but it is a sweet little machine, and I will never surrender it. I also have a Honda EM 6500 water cooled unit up North. A truly wonderful piece of machinery!

New to it all, L35, Thumb Recommendations

I think from a cost effective perspective the advice that "anomad" is offering above is good. If you do decide on a grapple, I would highly advise an EA "wicked" grapple (not the cheapest, but the best!) I have a grapple (not EA) but have EA forks, and I use my forks frequently. As I mentioned...

New to it all, L35, Thumb Recommendations

I think I can tell you which is the BEST hyd. thumb for your hoe, but I have no idea what it might cost. I have an L48 TLB that I bought in 2019 with only 251 hours. It is a magnificent machine (toy) for me, and the hyd. thumb is superb (it interacts perfectly with the bucket position) The...

Is it me or is Kubota becoming overpriced???

At some point, potential buyers will just walk away,... if the item is not an absolute necessity. I believe that point in time is commonly called....recession!

For a little 4,000 pound tractor, I can certainly understand that would work just fine.

I would say,...... your guess is as good as mine!

How to properly size a culvert for Drainage ditch..?

I really do not think anyone can reasonably answer your "how far down will I have to dig" question, without seeing your particular location. As a possible guide: sewer drain lines must slope at least 1" per 10', and that is a smooth pipe absolute minimum pitch!

How to properly size a culvert for Drainage ditch..?

I understand. Because poly is easy to cut,..... it is obviously the best material for the OP's project? Got it now! ;)

How to properly size a culvert for Drainage ditch..?

As before: Any 12" corrugated pipe, or pipes, is not the best idea. 12" corrugated pipe is readily plugged by debris. Any diameter poly pipe ("plastic") is a very poor idea if trying to minimize earthen cover. With... adequate earth cover..... poly pipe is the best choice.

    Grapple

At the current exchange rate that should be about $1,600 USD.

How to properly size a culvert for Drainage ditch..?

A single 20" diameter culvert will provide nearly 50% more flow than two 12" culverts, and will be much less suceptible to plugging from debris.

How to properly size a culvert for Drainage ditch..?

There should not be a need to cut any type of 20' pipe for that proposed application.

How to properly size a culvert for Drainage ditch..?

Poly pipe is excellent, but the OP will need to use a lot more cover fill if using poly pipe. Running a semi truck over poly pipe with 12" of cover is not the same as running that semi truck over steel pipe with 12" of cover. More cover material means more dirt hauling for the entire approach...
