I totaly agree with your assessment of EA quality. Does anyone have an opinion of quality, for EA Land Shark attachments? It would seem to me that the Land Shark line is likely somewhat scaled down in quality, to meet a price point.

That is just the way it works. Diesel engines usually make the oil turn dark rather quickly. Diesel is a less refined fuel, and the combustion process is dirtier. Gas engines ....not so much.

"Reliable Aftermarket Parts" is anything BUT reliable. Nearly everything they sell is Chinesium. I do not buy anything from "Reliable" BTW, Stevens Tractor parts apparently has the same owner as "Reliable".

I think it ....depends.. I still have my dad's now 51 year old Craftsman (Roper) 42" rider - 15HP Briggs. It has likely mowed for over 2,000 hours. That deck was only cleaned once each year, and it is still in like new condition. I no longer use the mower though.

You say.... "the LP is cast formed"? Formed ....Yes. Cast....NO I think the only "cast" part you will find on ANY brand of these brush mowers will be the gearbox. If the LP were a "cast" mower deck, your B2650 might struggle to just lift it.

Yup, some do feel that "specialtyrepairscustommods.com" makes expensive stuff. Their step offers less chance of my falling,..... and at 82, that was a very good reason for me to buy!
