    My Kubota was a dirtbag!

WHY does Kubota have to ruin a good thing. My dads L275 has an exhaust pipe that runs down the tractor and out to the back axel, where the muffler is located. The same exact style that all major automobiles have. Also while on this topic I thought I'd mention and ask this. With my little B6100 I...

    Gen Set on a BX2360

Greg, Look into geting a power inverter that you can wire into your battery and use to power hand tools and such with. Bound to be alot cheaper and more compact in size then an midmount PTO generator...

    B3200 Top Link

Oh I've screwed up bad and practically replaced the 3pt hitch on more then one occasion. The first time I was I had ran the top link all the way out to throw the back of the grading box on an angle and try to back blade that way. BAD IDEA! SNAP went the short top lift arm that does the brunt...

    B7100 help

Well you've made the right choice so far by looking at a Kubota. I couldn't tell you about the updated cooling system or water pump. But I can tell you rest assured you'll be pleased with the B7100. I myself have a B6100 and have been blown away with the kind of things I can do with such a small...

When, Where and Why (Off topic)

Did anybody else have their eyes water up and a lump in their throat when they read Wildfires story? Brother I can surely tell you, you're not alone on the love of an item like that. No I have not suffered the loss like you have. But when I was a child growing up I idolized my father and wanted...

    FEL chain/lifting hooks

I'm with GWD on this, bracing and support is the key. My father has 3 chain grab hooks welded on the front edge of his bucket. 2 smaller one's on both edge's and a larger one in the middle. They make a world of difference in all kinds of situations. From moving attachments to pulling out small...

    I need your opinions

Yeah I'm jealous thats a sharp looking loader, wish I had one. And I as well agree with the above. You can never have enough of a good thing. Smart idea on your part to think ahead for future needs!

    Bucket modified Mod #3

I always wondered why buckets on bulldozers had that extra lip on the top of the bucket for, makes perfect sense now! Kind of acts like a spill guard if your pushing material into piles or loading dump trucks!

Leave it run or turn it off?

Well I stand corrected then! I've never had any major issues arise form a diesel sitting and idling long periods of time. I was driving a big rig up until last June and I pretty much had it running all day long about 8 to 10 hours, the in house shop mechanic took oil and fuel samples every so...

    L245 won't turn over

I know my dad ran into a similar problem with his L275, he put on new starter and alternator and ended up having to replace he key ignition.

Leave it run or turn it off?

I let mine sit and idle if I happen to hop off and take care of a few little tasks, alot of times I turn mine off just to have a few minutes of peace and quiet. I doesn't hurt a diesel to sit and idle for hours on end, thats one of the things they designed them to do. I've been a truck driver...

    L245 won't turn over

Take the starter and alternator off and have them both tested at an auto parts store, sounds to me like it could be either one. I'm leaning more toward the alternator but as you stated the starter has been rebuilt which can still be bad.

    3 cheers for ServiceDept Vic

I've always thought somebody should make a Facebook page for OTT and we need to talk to KTC and have Kubota Corporate make a fan page on there for us to join in.

more on wheels guys I'm afraid, but only a bit...

WOW, thats odd Vic my B6100E has 8x16's on the rear, I must have an oddball tire size. Which when I went to replace them and put new ones on it took me for ever to find an 8x16.
