Yeah you're right. It's going back where it came from. So, now I'm pretty much back to square one, with very few options. I might just have to source parts and build one from scratch.

Well, I can't really recommend the company that made this shaft. Despite promising me 'same day' or next day at the latest, it took them 10 days to make that. Not exactly like-for-like.

That's a great idea. I like that. The roll pins would also make a suitable place for it to fail gracefully, if ever needed.

I ordered these on Wednesday and they arrived today! Just 2 days end to end from Cyprus to the UK. They are perfect for repairing my drivehsaft. I only need the sleeves, but they come as a set and I'm sure the shafts will come in handy one day.

Thanks again! Sadly we are very much lacking machine shops like this in Scotland. I counted it as 18 Splines, 25mm internal diameter.
