    Kubota Diesel Motorcycle

Re: Diesel Motorcycle Hey Coachgeo That is going to be a really cool project, can't wait to see it finished. To answer some of your questions: A turbo will give you the most bang for the buck. You can also have the injector pump and injectors rebuilt and have the pressure raised a...

    Some of my equipment mods.

Hey Coachgeo, Yea those look like some neat trucks, I loved the video. I have a 49 military 2.5 ton 6x6 that I want to do something with, thinking about making it articulated so I have both the front steering and the articulation, and still have both rear axles under the back end. I haven't...

What are High Hours for a Kubota tractor?

Well stated Kytim, if he trades that machine in for a newer one I can just imagine the conversation when someone walks in looking for a deal on a used tractor.... Salesman "Oh yea now take this lil rig right here, she might not be much to look at but look at those low hours, shoot this thing...

What are High Hours for a Kubota tractor?

I don't know anything about that model, but I would venture to guess you got a really sweet deal there. My L1500DT has untold number of hours on it, and it just keeps going, this is what I like so much about these lil Orange machines, they just don't quit. As for what route you should take...

    Kubota B2620 Starting problem

Sounds like it could be the solenoid, or a loose connection either from the switch to the solenoid, or one of the big cables on the solenoid. A quick way to test the solenoid is to clip a wire to the hot cable on the battery, then touch the other end to the smaller terminal on the solenoid...

    Some of my equipment mods.

Hey everyone, These are shots of the dig site where I got all the clay for the backyard this summer, it is a good 200 yards from the house, and overlooks the pond, (well it does when I have all the brush cut down, lol). I shaved the 3-6 inches of top soil off and pushed it back in the...

    Some of my equipment mods.

Hey Everyone, Well from here on for now I will move to just the shed and electrical. I took these pictures for another forum because someone had asked if a powered miter saw would cut PVC. This is actually Grey PVC Conduit. After making the cuts. After shaving off the burrs. I needed...

    Some of my equipment mods.

Hey Everyone, So backyard part 3: We had some ceramic tiles left over from another project in the house so we thought we would lay them out and see if we could make the shed floor out of them.. It was miserable hot even in the shade when we started setting the tiles so I made a...

    Some of my equipment mods.

Hey Everyone, So backyard part 2: I knew I was going to need some Grey PVC conduit to run power to the shed and pool so I bought it and just connected a few pieces together to simulate the 22' circle of the new pool. There is more than one way to get out of cutting grass, lol. Some of...

Hey Everyone, Hope you are all having a Great Day, it is a Good Day to be Alive! Well I tried to beat the backyard into submission so we could put up a new pool and shed this past summer, it didn't work out so good so I decided to just bury it, lol. It is amazing how you can look at land and...

No power at glow plug when connected

Check the fuses and have a really good look at the preheater coil, I have seen many fuses that looked good and tested good, but once you put a load on them they heat and open, thus no current, same thing with the lil coil for preheating, it could look fine but seperate and open when under load...

    Some of my equipment mods.

Hey Everyone, Amen on both comments! I have always told people a machine is a machine is a machine, they all use the same basic parts, it just depends on how those parts are used that determines what the machine does. My wife used to ask me why I didn't throw stuff out when it didn't...

    L2201DT overheating

OK at this point I would take the drivebelt off the water pump and check the shaft for excessive play, and if everything feels good then I would go ahead and flush the block, if you can connect a water hose to the input side of the water pump and get water out of the return on the engine then...

    L2201DT overheating

Without a thermostat you should be able to take the cap off the radiator while it is running and see the water moving around, if there is no movement then the pump is shot. Usually when a pump goes bad they will either start leaking or make noises, but not always. Best Regards Paul

Deep Creep is the best stuff I have found for rusted nuts, bolts, and other parts, spray it on, let it sit for awhile and it works absolute wonders, I keep several cans around at all times. Also while I am at it, when I take something apart, I always use Anti Sieze around shafts, on bolt...
