    Punctured rear tire, L-35, thoughts/advice?

As others said, my vote would be plug it with new plugs and new glue. Glue works like a lubricant to help push the plug in. Ream it and make the hole bigger if need be. Can't fit the reamer... drill it a skosh bigger. In my experience; The little tire plug kits are usually good once...

Bat house/kestrel nesting box pole construction critique and suggestions wanted.

Nice design. I like it.. It's going to be heavy swinging it up or down. Lose control of it and the bat box will be destroyed. Or whomever whatever it falls on. Maybe a rope and pully to a nearby tree to ease it down? Set it up to swing down on only one side. I was thinking 4" ABS pipe...

    Kubota radiators!!!

12 years in dusty conditions... with a questionable maintenance history.... 2 Choices: 1> Replace the radiator, hoses, etc and Screen 2> Overheat and seize the engine There are companies that make custom radiators. It's not hard. But it takes a little dedicated time and some money.

    Tire Chains

I have a LX2610 Cab with R14's bought new in 2022. Moved some serious snow and never needed chains. Or studs. R14s are good for snow... if that is what you have. Not they could hurt anything. . but your fenders.

    Let’s see your shooting range

150 yds. I could drop some trees and go further I suppose. Usually sight in the deer rifles at 100 yds tho.

    Swift-Tach delete.

Ironic, Yesterday I was contemplating taking off the FEL "legs" off my non-Swift-Tatch (standard) LA535 because I can't ever see a reason to take the loader off. Increase my lift capacity by 10 lbs. Lol. Earlier tractors had no legs.... it was you and a couple young lads and it's off. I am...

    OK one more bytch!

Sad tale for sure. I am in my 60's and can still operate a mini computer phone. It has more capability than I can figure out, and is 100x better than any computer used by NASA for the Apollo space missions. Lol. I am posting on this forum right now with my Samsung. It tracks my movements...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

So I fixed the popped front tire bead, second time in 2 days. Spent 30 minutes just cleaning mud out of the bead area. Found out the tire, or wheel, or valve stem... has a leak. It looses about 1 PSI every 5 minutes or so. I can't find any fault in the tire.... no screws or nails in it...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Had 2 trees fall, almost hit the house. One with 24" trunk dia close to the rootball, which pulled out of the ground. First tree hit second tree breaking 1st tree in half then 2nd tree split just above the ground and fell, but rested on a 3rd tree over the house. God's Grace. Been cutting...

Another tractor accident… and a question

Too many variables. The issues I see are: >2WD tractor. >Too heavy a load. >A slope. Too heavy a load and a slope.... people die. I would guess that the deseased had the sense to back down the slope, but the load was too great to control the tractor. Sad story. It happens a lot more...

    Dang flat face quick connects.

Mine look like those. I put my grapple on this morning and right after pushing down the fel quick connect levers the hyrdos plugged right in..... WITH the tractor running AND EVEN with the fel up in the air. Amazing. 80% of the time it's a piece of cake. 20% of the time it's a bitch.

Photo shoot anything lately? Random Photo Thread

Cleaning up a tree fall Nearly took out the Jeep Liberty and the house deck. Been doing chainsaw work, moving logs to a staging spot to cut smaller and split. This strange bug shows up. It flys slow. Slower than a grasshopper. When flying, looks like a pixie or fairie in the movies. I...

    No work!

I don't do heat either. Or pavers for all that matter. A desert rat in my younger half-life, I loved it. Stupid is as stupid does.... One day about 30 or so years ago, my brother and I wanted to test our endurance, and spend a weekend in the Mojave desert. In July. Both of us spent...

    What’s with all the SPAM?

Bacon is better. WAY better. But Spam needs no refrigeration. Nothing like a Spam, egg and sourdough breakfast sandwich when camping way out there. Ya still need butter, and a lot of it, and eggs. But if you hard-boil the eggs, and good butter... doesn't need refrigeration.

    Fixing something to fix something.

Yep. ^^^^ Marine grade plywood, covered by surplus aluminum diamond plate. The 'on center' of the frame isn't an issue to the alum top plate, only to the plywood. Trailer floor might outlive you, and all of us.

    MX 5400 Canopy mounted fan

In my opinion, don't mess with the tractor's power. There are lots of options. Edit; For a small fan, that is. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE-18V-Lithium-Ion-4-0-Ah-Battery-2-0-Ah-Battery-and-Charger-Kit-with-FREE-ONE-Hybrid-WHISPER-SERIES-7-1-2-in-Fan-PCL811B-PSK106SB/329129707

Pondering a bit of a dark question

I'd share it, but it is a personal choice. I have a couple small accolades hidden away in a drawer. Nothing major. I'm sure my family that knows, will share it. My past professional associates will share it. The emotional impact, at an emotional moment such as a memorial service can't...
