What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Hmmm, I'll have to look and see when I last replaced the battery. Thanks for the advice on a replacement type.

Is your dump hydraulic off of the tractor remotes or battery electric over hydraulic? The reason I'm asking; I have a dump too but it's battery electric over hydraulic and I have to stop and recharge after 2 maybe 3 dumps.

    No CC

Well said! It is a choice that we all make. I agree totally with the concept of taking full advantage of using the CC and paying in full when the statement comes....however, so many people's situation changes and they may be unable to pay in full and then the 25% interest begins to add up and...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Best of luck to you! Sounds as if life's challenges have been hard fought! Like the way you handled the larger pieces, my back would probably be in better shape, if I would have done that in my younger days instead of wrestling them by hand.

    Manure Spreader

There are many chicken houses in my area. I'll stop by and see what they are using and inquire about renting. Thanks for the feedback!

    Manure Spreader

Wow, that is exactlly what I need. Seems you and McFarmall hit the nail on the head with the Top Dresser. Now I got to find one to rent, too costly for me to buy only to use once a year.

    Manure Spreader

Thanks Paul, I am familiar with the fertilizer spreader , but like you said I was thinking it would be really slow go being it would spread thin. I will have to use the FEL as a last resort, my old eyes and slow motors skills just seems to make a mess of thinks when I try to spread thin layers...

    Chain Box

Here is a picture from the tractor side. The QH is on the tractor so I was a bit challenged in getting my phone far enough away to get a decent picture.

    Manure Spreader

Sorry if this is a dumb question, do most/all spreaders have a moving bottom or should I be looking for one that definitely does?

    Manure Spreader

I have found one in a barn and the lady said she would sell at a reasonable price. She might even let me try it first. Just didn't want to dump a bucket full of topsoil in it and have to shovel it out not knowing if it will work.

    Manure Spreader

Anyone ever used a manure spreader to apply a thin layer of topsoil to a lawn before seeding? I've never used one and I'm not familuaer with them at all. So I'm not sure if the manure is larger clumps that allows the spreader to work? The topsoil I have is clean and not clumped. I'm not...

Never seen a ballast built like yours...excellent idea! I'm going to show my ignorance now but what's the upper receiver hitch used for?
