    Customizing LA435

If you just want to do a test can you not just install the pins in the second location without bolting down the flags. Probably be able to lift the front of the tractor higher using the loader as long as there are no clearance issues.

Damaged Loader... How best to repair?

I was skeptical of the design of the loader mount when I first saw it and thought that it might be easier to damage compared to my old one on the B7200. My old one had the posts part of the removable loader assembly and attached to the lower quick attach section that was connected to the...

Damaged Loader... How best to repair?

I do not know if this is the case or not but not long after I took delivery of my LX2610 in the fall of 2022 I was contacted by my dealer who wanted to come out and check my loader attachment points. It appeared that some of the connection points on the loaders were improperly assembled before...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Since we have had no need this winter for the snowblower I decided today to disconnect it and put on the loader to do some earth moving. Going back at it tomorrow to take advantage of the crazy warm weather. If we do get a late blast of winter, I will just have to wait for it to melt.

B2601 Warranty Expiring ($500 to extend for a year?). Pass, right?

Just went blind trying to follow the drawings in my service manual but you are correct from what I can see. Thankfully it seems similar to the safety module that I just repaired in my JD 345 garden tractor. I was wanting to buy the LX3310 for the increase in pto HP but my dealer talked me out...

B2601 Warranty Expiring ($500 to extend for a year?). Pass, right?

You sure that the B2601 does not have an ECM? My LX2610 has an ECU. Same difference except in wording (module vs. unit). Frankly I wish you were correct.

Trailer requirements for a Kubota 3901

Bare minimum is a 7000" gvwr trailer with dual axles all with brakes. This is what I have and considered it the bare minimum when towing my B7200 tlb. I have not towed my LX2610 on it yet but know that I will not be able to also load it up with patio stones like I did once with the B7200 LOL.

Weak loader on kubota b7200 with 1640 loader

Actually, there was no noticeable difference in the operation of the loader after the power steering kit was installed. Operated just as good as the loader on my new LX. Now if I tried to steer and lift the loader at the same time which seldom happens then it might respond a bit slower. The...

Weak loader on kubota b7200 with 1640 loader

I believe you have it correct! This is going back almost 40 years since I installed the power steering kit. From what I remember the kit came with another block with longer banjo bolts. I did this about three years after I bought the tractor. One thing I remember is that the dealer (to my...

Operating a Wood Splitter on a L3540 Tractor

Exactly! You will have to find a way to hold the remote valve lever in one direction or use the power beyond connections if you have them. The speed of the splitter will be in direct relation to the engine speed and gpm available from the tractor. These are positive displacement pumps, so the...

Brand new implement rust and bent

I am just amazed that the tines are not re-enforced or gusseted like my Kioti grapple as well as brands I have seen from other members on this forum. I have used mine to lift tons of boulders etc. and have yet to bend anything. Even the gauge of the tines etc. seems lacking in my opinion...

    Small bump in 4wd, occasionally

The front u-joint Is inside the driveshaft cover just behind the differential and the rear joint is under the cover between your feet. Since been intermittent I wonder if it might be a main bearing behind the wheel.

Rural water pressure from well and how to improve

Glad I stayed out of this discussion. I like my tried-and-true system of 40# on and 60# off. This actually is better for the garden irrigation system as it varies the coverage pattern. As for inside the house with all the restrictors I see no recognizable change, As for PEX I am old school and...

Has Amazon ever sent you something you didn't order?

About five years ago I ordered a couple of irrigation solenoids. Received them three days before the guaranteed delivery date. Received two more on the guaranteed delivery date. Waste of time trying to correct the order. Reminds me of the time I ordered a couple of 30 x 50 tarps from Princess...

    B7100 HST rattling noise

I would love to put a stethoscope or something solid to my ear to try to narrow down the location of the noise. The coupling certainly appears to have issues. Would hate to do all the splitting and repairs only to find the noise is still there and is in the HST. Although with that kind of noise...

Cylinder pin and bushing spec/tolerance LA534 (B2650 tractor)

A friend of mine recently sold his lathe for around $700. I believe it originated from a school machine shop that was shutting down. A search of local sites shows decent lathes listed for around $4000. I paid around $1400 for my new fully optioned Myford in 1974. It only has a 7" swing but has...
