    Expensive Cheap Parts Lesson

I did a complete transmission rebuild this fall and used all Kubota replacement parts to get it done, wasn't cheap but everything fit like a glove, and works flawlessly! At the same time the water pump was making noise and leaking so I though why not replace that too why I'm at it, I found one...

    Studding tires for winter

I looked at a lot of different options for studding tires and came up with a simple solution! They sell studs for off road racing that are just hardened screws and they work really well, but they are really pricey. So I came up with a cheaper alterative, 3/8" x 1 1/2" Tapcon concrete screws...

Sad day before Thanksgiving car/train accident

I live in an area where trains run buy my place about 40 times a day, so it's really busy on the rails. I was out working on the tractor when I heard a northbound BNSF coming he blew his horn once then twice then hit it hard and non stop, then I heard the couplers crash together on the train...

    Snow and Ice studs

When I bought my L3450 I thought that the previous owner had sort of lost his marbles at some point and screwed in a bunch of hex head screws into the front tires for traction, The fact that the screws were in there didn't concern me because the front tires are foam filled so no chance of them...

Making a Dozer blade and Snow blade

Has anyone made a heavy dozer blade for their tractor? I'm thinking about making one for the L3450 for both the winter snow and moving a whole lot of dirt this next spring. I already have 2 blades and edges here, light flip style blade and reverse wedge flat edge for the snow and a heavy fixed...

B7100 hydraulic adapter plate and other parts

I have a hydraulic adapter plate for the B7100 (may fit others too), it's to hook up a FEL, or front blade or any other open center spool valve to the hydraulic system. It's near new, just bolted up once, Includes (2) #6 to JIC hydraulic fittings. It's Part # 70070-00385 and I paid around $85...

    Back to School

Well it's back to school for me! I've had my eyes glued to the computer for the last couple days studying a parts and repair manual! I got sucked into the vortex of "Bigger is better, right"! I love my little B7100... but it was well...lacking!:o To Craig's list I did go and what did my eye's...

    Annoying Add of the week!

The winner is! MicroEssentials by Mosaic! Stupid add starts to play a video on every dang page! And if your lucky it's a bear to close because when you close it the one on the side right under it will start to play it again! I know that Adds pay the bills but spare me the auto play on...

    Cultivator/Spring tooth build

Spent most of yesterday making a Cultivator/Spring tooth for the B7100. The square tube is 3" 3/8 thick so it's got enough weight. The last one I made was 3 tooth and it just didn't have enough weight to work efficiently!

    Bring on the Snow!

I got a new toy to play in the snow with, Come on snow!:D 50" snow blower with wings for 60" coverage for $950 It's in really good condition and runs extremely quiet. My 36" snow blower on my simplicity sounds like a jet engine right before a crash! We get about a foot to 2 foot every time...

    B7100 Upgrades / Mods

Just got a new to me B7100HST, it was in ok, to poor shape, but it's coming around soon enough.;) It had the motor tore 1/2 way down when I got it and I took the chance that it might run, there was a thick coat of oil in the all the ports of the heads so I was hoping that it was a valve seal...
