Getting ready to run hydraulic hoses for grapple

I just got it back from dealer. They had to fix a leak in my hose and must have wiped it down. LOL

Getting ready to run hydraulic hoses for grapple

Here is where the dealer mounted mine on the 2601. The L3200 I had before this one was about same location if I remember correctly. Look just above the bucket on the right side of tractor.

    Hydraulic Fluid on Floor

When I say normal, I mean a drip once in a while like when you disconnect a fitting on FEL or back hoe.

    Hydraulic Fluid on Floor

leaking can be normal. I check my hose connections from time to time. Unless you have a huge pool of oil, you are not going to run out of fluid. They hold a lot.

    B2601 3rd Function Install

Got a look at my set up and the line from the front block goes behind the frame and to the rear and attaches to the pump. Another line comes out of pump and continues behind fender to the rear for BH. Hope this helps.

    B2601 3rd Function Install

I am not really sure how the dealer ran the lines on mine. I will try to get under the tractor today to take a look.

The stupid thing I did today is admit the stupid thing I did. ;-)

Today’s award for stupid goes to…

My front field is just over 500' long and 200' wide. After mowing around the garden and back field I moved to the front. I mowed length wise and made a good 4 or 5 passes before realizing I never lowered the deck into cutting mode. I did turn on the deck, but for some reason never lowered it...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

This morning I was able to clear a strip of land that is about 25" wide and 300' long from tree roots that were semi surface rooted. We tried for a few days using shovels, axe and pry bar and lasted an hour before the heat would get us. My tractor was in for some service of leaky connections...

B2601 Treadle Pedal hard to use

I noticed that this morning when I was driving the tractor to my front field for pick up from dealer. I was wearing my casual shoes and the pedal felt very easy to use. More so than normal. LOL. I figured it had to be my shoes!

B2601 Treadle Pedal hard to use

Not against it. Just could not do it at all for now. Decided to see if stretching the springs would help and so far so good

B2601 Treadle Pedal hard to use

Never got to do any switching. It was too hard for me to get the springs disconnected so I left them alone until I got to use the tractor more. I now have 64.5 hours on the clock, and the pedal seems to have loosened a little. I will continue to keep it in use to see how this works out. I am...

    HYDRO FILTER CHANGE

I used a shop vac to create a small suction at the fill port and lost less than a cup while changing both filters and took my time taking off and putting on. The loss I experienced was the fluid in the filters themselves. Thanks to others for posting that tip and videos. Works great.

Quick Disconnect block removal and replacement

appreciate the info. I decided to contact the dealer and they are coming to get the tractor and install everything for me N/C. Now I don't have to mess with it at all. We found out that the lines would need to be changed out as well due to the upward bend of the existing lines going to the...

Quick Disconnect block removal and replacement

I have the B2601 tractor with quick disconnect block for FEL that leaks. I am completely replacing the block and mounting bracket with a new bracket and individual male and female connectors. I do not like the QD Blocks. I have all the parts, but never got any instructions on the removal of the...

Adding mirrors so I don't have to turn in my seat!

I tried using a cut of truck inner tube between the bar and tower. Did not like that so removed it. I did keep the piece of inner tube between the mirror mount and angle iron because there are two bolts holding and not one like in the tower's existing hole. I did use nylock nuts so nothing would...

Adding mirrors so I don't have to turn in my seat!

OK, got some pics this morning for you Dell. I show the pics on tractor how the new angle iron looks. I also show some pics on the bench of the flat stock on left and the angle on right. I think the flat stock is 1 1/2" wide and angle is 1X1 wide. I believe I made the angle iron 9 1/2" long, but...

Adding mirrors so I don't have to turn in my seat!

I thought I took a couple more pics of the new mounts, but can't seem to find them. I will try to remember to take a couple tomorrow and post for you.

Adding mirrors so I don't have to turn in my seat!

No, not one inch thick. They are 1" X1" wide. Bed rails are I think 1/8" thick. I just found that the angle stiffens it up quite a bit. The flat stock worked very well also. I was happy with both mounts. If you need any other info, just shoot me a message and I will answer any questions.

Adding mirrors so I don't have to turn in my seat!

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IJN9UZK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 $12.99. So far they are holding up very well. I did change one thing since making the mounts. I had a couple pieces of bed angle iron laying around so I drilled and mounted them to replace the flat...
