Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

I don't actually disagree with what you say, although there are probably only a relatively small number that self regulate effectively. Furthermore, there is no doubt that companies provide incentives to vets for selling their brands. E.g. Hills provided food at reduced cost to the vet...

Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

Trimley, while I have not used either the fresh frozen foods or Purina, there is something to be said to feeding people food when needed. I have been through 3 months of loose stools in an old dog, and none of the digestive remedies provided by my vet worked for any length of time. Same with...

Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

I have no right to be critical, but it sounds like your vet has missed something, and I am sorry if this thought only adds to your grief. Is there a vet teaching hospital or a specialty clinic nearby that you could discuss with your vet that she be referred to if he/she is stumped? Or if not...

    Diesel can fit

And jury rigged comes from an old nautical term for a cobbled up temporary mast to solve a broken mast problem.

    Water Separator Wrench

I'll third the idea of gently warming up that region. There are a bunch of plastic parts in that region that judging from the frost all over it are really cold. Plastic is brittle, and force may cause more troubles. It normally doesn't take much force to get the water separator off.

    Gear heads ,,283

It could be worse, when not only do they not know anything, they assume you don't either. Went into an O Reillys for a bottle of PowerService for anti gel, and the kid tried to hand me a bottle of gas preservative, and another kid came over and asked was I sure I had a diesel engine? By that...

    Property tax

For your entertainment I have received in the last couple of weeks an email and text from presumably a representative of my registered political party asking if I'd be interested in running for any of the local offices, and to contact this person for information on how to run. Yikes...

    L3301 running away with itself

I don't know if this fits with the error codes but when these models were first out there were a few runaways and there was a campaign to solve the problem"cold weather fix kit". Basically if water vapor gets into air breather and oil separator and freezes it causes a runaway. If you search...

Weird Stalling on Brand New L3902…

I agree with cold weather seat switch diagnosis, but look up where the sensor actually is in your model. In some of the newer Kubotas it is either a pad embedded IN the seat or a pad velcro'd to the front of the seat. To solve the problem caused by my down coat not allowing my weight to press...

    What's cookin' boys?

Yum! I bought a whole tenderloin yesterday, trying to decide how to cut it up and freeze in more manageable pieces. Sliced off a couple of pieces for dinner last night, and flavor was good. What was in your marinade? Might vacuum seal a hunk ready to thaw and sous vide for company.

    B2650HSDC Recall Notice

While I do have a B2650, I don't have a back hoe, so would not need a recall fix. Whitetiger is a professional tech and so gets the recall info.

    My Turn :(

Don't forget to take into account the role of politicians in determining what was being said "officially" by the CDC. It was possible to read the scientific papers of the available data at any given point in time and decide for oneself what made sense. The orders and public proclamations...

    What's cookin' boys?

Looked up chicken riggies from utica and found several recipes. I'm thinking one could substitute venison strips for the chicken, and it would be tasty. I'm still boycotting commercially sourced chicken, more children hurt in a Los angeles factory.

Good indeed. Just shows you what is true on average is not necessarily true for any given individual.

Argh. Fingers crossed your immune system will cope. I have a bone marrow problem that makes it less effective at responding to vaccinations, so trying to not need.

Given that you are on immunosuppressants, I would look into getting one of the additional treatments asap. Your vaccinations might not be able to create as many antibodies as usual.

Good to know. Course Costco doesn't have Mrs. RCW's pies in them!
