Me too because I always had 77 F100's. And I used to put one of my spare dump truck rims and tires in the back of it.
It's amazing we got around as long as we did considering there were no fancy winter tires back then either, LOL
Is it overpriced? YES. Do I love it? YES!! LOL
I've never put ballast, but I had to bring firewood to house, so figured I'd just leave some in the dump box. Will only help with even more traction.
Well, looking at that pic of his video, he's already running the worst filters you can buy, LOL
Aside from that, use good oil, no worries. There will still be a film for startup.
The other thing nice about the Boss plow is when you take it off, you lose no ground clearance at all. Your RTV is back to stock for trail riding.
With the K-Connect for my blower, I have lost a few inches now because the driveline has to stay on.
Well I'm not your financial advisor but I will say this. For YEARS I argued on here about how I'm a real man and don't mind blowing with my open station tractors. Well I can tell you, I finally got to use the RTV tonight in a storm with wind and I LOVED IT!!!
So do yourself a favor and buy a cab...
Well, I had an F550 with a Boss plow and it sat here all winter. Visibility sucks and just starting it burnt more fuel than the Kubota's use all winter.
The price of the blower setup for the RTV is disgusting for sure. But sometimes my wife has to clean the yard and she absolutely loves the RTV...
I live on lake Superior and I have a gravel driveway and hills. But I also don't wait until it's ridiculously bad to plow. I don't know? It and those tires worked for me.
But I swapped it out for the K-Connect and blower because a blower is easier on machine, will go through anything and is...
Hmmm.....I've never had an issue with my Boss vee plow pushing my RTX sideways or losing traction with no weight in the bed. I'm running the work sight tires.
Happy with my CF Moto Z-Force 950 HO EX. No issues and I like driving it better than the RZR's and Can Am's.
No, won't beat them in an all out drag race, but it has more room, more comfortable, quieter and way more features for thousands less.
Yes, motorcycles too have been pricing themselves out of most peoples desire to buy one also. I paid over $14,000 Canadian for a DIRT BIKE 2 years ago.
As far as snowmobiles, the way winters are now, I'd rather invest on tracks for my ATV.
Yes, that's the thing. If my tractor brakes in the summer and I can't mow the lawn no big deal. If it breaks in the winter I'm hiring someone or I'm screwed, LOL
I like redundancy. I only do my own personal driveway, but no way I'm getting caught with my pants down, LOL
And if these both fail, I can put a rear blower on one of my antique show tractors, LOL
Only wish I had this much reliability in my vehicles, LOL
