Talk me out of buying a Woodmax WM8H

The grapple is the next thing on my list, then probably done purchasing implements or attachments for quite a while. Most of my tree work is very close quarters right now so I can get by with dropping a few trees, cutting the smaller branches and limbs off and feeding them into the chipper, and...

Talk me out of buying a Woodmax WM8H

Sorry, can't help you, or should I say I can't help the CFO. My CFO also highly questioned the purchase when I told her we needed one, but after some convincing, it was delivered earlier this week. It took about 2-3 hours to complete assembly but that gives you a good opportunity to see how...

    L3560LE 4WD HST

Sounds like a deal to me. When you compare the 2501 with HST and 4WD with the LA525 to the 3560 LE with the LA805 on the Build My Kubota web site, the 2501 comes up at $24,293 vs the 3560 at $31,956 for a difference of about $7400 so if you getting it at only a $5000 difference you're doing...

Woodland Mills WC-68 or WoodMaxx TM-8H or WoodMaxx WM-8H

My WoodMaxx WM-8H was delivered today. Spent about 3 hours completing assembly. Still need to get 7 gallons of hydraulic oil to finish assembly so it's ready to use. I'm impressed with the quality so far. Looking forward to actually using it. I'll do a review once I get a few hours of run...

    L3302 for first tractor?

Hope it works out for you, but guessing waiting won't save you any money. We bought this time last year and so glad we did. Don't think we could have afforded this year what we purchased last year with price increases and much less attractive financing options today.

Tractor for 10 NY acres of flat, clay soil and wetland forest?

If clearing that much snow were a big part of what I needed a tractor for, I'd be looking at a cab tractor, maybe LX2610 or LX3310. Rear hydraulics are worthwhile, especially if you think you might want top and tilt functions like with the rear blade. I think the LX has a mid PTO so you could...

Woodland Mills WC-68 or WoodMaxx TM-8H or WoodMaxx WM-8H

Ordered my chipper today. Tough decision - I am sure the Woodland Mills WC-68 is a great chipper but I decided to go with WoodMaxx WM-8H instead. It had been on back order for several weeks but I received the email today that it was available for purchase and delivery so I jumped on it...

Top N Tilt for B2601 by Fit-Rite Hydraulics

When did you place your order? I ordered back in late October and still waiting on my T&T Kit from Fit-Rite for my L3560 LE. Hoping I get an email soon saying it's shipping. I've got lots of land work to do to get everything ready to plant grass seed this fall. I knew the wait would be long...

New L Series Mid Mount Mower ?

The new Grand L's available now as 60 Series have mid PTO, but no Mid Mount Mower is available. If you're looking to step up in size to an L or Grand L, and a 3 pt brush hog or finish mower may not work, consider a Flail Mower. It occupies less space behind the mower and from what I understand...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I need to seed grass at our farm, about an acre, but I'm waiting til Fall. With the current pricing for weed / grass killer, seed and fertilizer, I can't afford to do it too early and risk losing it to the summer heat and drought. This is a recreational property so we're not there all the time...

    L3302 for first tractor?

Picking the "first tractor" can be a true "rabbit hole" experience. A year ago I started out looking at the L3301 as my first tractor with 60" entry level 1200 Series box blade and rotary cutter, primarily trying get a big enough tractor and still keep the budget within reason. Within a week...

chipper: got to work with my new Woodmaxx MX8600 this weekend...

I'm looking at a chipper and between on from Woodland Mills and WoodMaxx. Leaning toward the WoodMaxx WM-8H, but also considered the 8600. Why did you select the 8600 and did you consider the 8H?

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Great idea with the Mule. I am planning to order a chipper, still deciding but leaning toward the WoodMaxx WM-8H. I hadn't thought about discharging into the dump bed of our Polaris Ranger, but that sounds like a good way to go.

Woodland Mills WC-68 or WoodMaxx TM-8H or WoodMaxx WM-8H

So reviving an older thread. I've read through it all a couple times and found it quite helpful, but still have a couple questions. First Old_Paint, did you end up getting the Woodland Mills chipper? If so what caused you to make that selection vs the WoodMaxx? I am leaning toward the...

L4060 - Recommendation for rear grass - brush cutter

I have the RCF2072 with slip clutch and chains front and rear and I'm quite pleased with it so far. I opted for it over the RCR1272 because it was much heavier duty. The 1872 wasn't in stock so not an option.

    Top-n-Tilt Best Practices

I assume you just received everything from FitRite? If so, when did you place your order. I ordered back in October and still haven't heard anything on when my kit will ship. I know he's busy and supplies are in short supply so I don't want to bother him. I'll email him in a couple weeks if...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Looks like you've got a good "Foreman" there making sure you do it the right way.

Out of cab PTO use L4060 LE

Thanks for listing the part number. I want to add that to my tractor. I assume it's the same part number for the L3560 LE ROPS as well. While we're at it, does anyone off hand know the part number to add the Cruise Control switch?

Purchasing Grand L3560 Limited Edition - is this a good price?

Yes, common practice. When I purchased my tractor and implements the cost for the Third Function Kit and Rear Remotes were on the invoice along with the labor to install them. From what I can tell, this is the norm.
