    Just a paint question

Is this different to people paying more for 100 year old barn wood than going price for premium cabinet lumber? Or how bout gals paying tall dollars for britches that look like wild cats been fighting in them? Rhetorical questions since everyone knows latest fad drives prices.

    Stinkin cart tires.

I've not had this problem with tubes but most times when SMALL tubeless tires leak down I find bead leaking. Break both beads, coat beads with fix-a-flat, reinflate and trouble free for a few years until tire rots.

Bx24 won’t start. No dash lights or clicking

Could be something minor, something major or might even be a combination of things. It's near impossible to tell by looking and twice as hard for guessing so I recommend starting with a multimeter to narrow it down.

    Maybe this year?

From the standpoint of material and labor, it's easier and effective to install a hot wire 3-4' from net fence than going higher than deer can jump.

    Loader

With only 15-20 hp difference the 4310 should handle it fine but you will likely need different mounting hardware. Just be sure you know make and model of loader so dealer can sell the correct hardware to marry loader to tractor.

Best ideas for adjustable lifting strap or chains?

I only cut enough wood for a fire pit and a smoker which is split at the stump. Since I don;t cut much I borrow splitter from a bbq place and bring them wood in exchange. On occasions when I move a log or powerline pole I take two wraps with chain and grab hook. If I was moving many ongoing...

    BX-tractor shift fork failure

You should go to dealer and examine roll pin 80. If pin is broken, show manager the pin then INSIST he put what he saw (broken pin) in writing. Then load tractor and take it home. I wouldn't allow them to touch my tractor again even if it was free. If pin is not broken I would take tractor...

Best ideas for adjustable lifting strap or chains?

With tractor all the time and handles 90% of tasks is 15' 3/8" chain w/grab hooks, 5' 3/8" chain w/grab hooks and two 12' 2.5k ratchet straps. Other chains , cables, straps, snatch blocks and winch stored in barn until needed. If I used tractor daily for logging or other special purpose, gear...

    Fuel Filter Mod for $25

This sounds like a vast improvement over factory filters and reasonably priced. For the ultra frugal a good source of filter base with water separator is boat salvage yard. Has Kubota said why they use 2 identical filters in series? I understand logic of prefilter to stop large particals...

Need advice on identification and repair of this old Corn Planter

We used one similar for corn and peas even though all our cotton was planted with a 3 point bought with the 8n. My bil carved plates from plywood that worked fine once when the plates were misplaced.

    Battery questions???

    1. Sitting with less than full charge is detrimental to amp-hour and battery life (deeper the discharge and longer the time, the more harmful). 2. Slower the recharge (charger output) the better for battery health. Boost/quick charge as last resort.

    Battery questions???

You are smart by staying on top of this, it will pay dividends in longer battery life, keep starter healthy, easier starting and peace of mind. #1. True #2. Varies but charge is sufficient at operating rps to at minimum maintain charge. Some chargers sold as maintainer don't have as good of...
