    I have block heater, but my previous tractor did not. My McGyver solution was to use a hair dryer. It worked great. i had also thought about getting a stick on silicone heater to put under the transmission to pre-heat the hydraulic fluid.

    Your L2502 is 2 frame sizes up from a BX series. I think you would be less happy doing your tasks with a BX.

    MY first CUT at home was a 34hp New Holland. It was Amazing! My next CUT at home is a 40hp New Holland. It performs my tasks soooo much better! In my case, bigger is better!

    I would add two other categories People who's budget can't afford a larger tractor than a BX People who just look at horsepower, and don't realize what a difference frame size, weight.larger tires, loader capacity, etc. makes.
