I personally like my 3 point rear remote powered log splitter. I can run my l4760 at 1000 rpm and it is plenty fast and powerful. I don't have to maintain another engine. I split about 5 ricks a year. If I was selling wood I would want a self contained unit.

Not good news. I took the time today to get a 10' 3/8 ID hose to run the return oil outlet of the steering controller to the cap on the tank(oil fill port with vent). I capped off the line that tees to the steering controller return. I put return line back on pump the way it came from factory...

I wonder if Kubota thinks it isn't necessary to have splash lubrication on the L6060 because it has a turbo. All the L60 series above the L4760 all have a turbo. The L4760 and L6060 are pretty much the same engine, just mine doesn't have a turbo and has a different ecm (computer).

The diagram you have on here isn't for the grand l60 series. The hose routing that kubotafreak has listed earlier in this discussion is correct. I have the service manuals for the L60 series and this is the diagram for our tractor. I am not reversing fluid flow.
