    Winter is coming!

Curious how you know or find out when the gas stations make the transition to winter diesel? Does it happen on a given month, or is it to the discretion of the gas stations?

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The BXpanded FEL dolly showed up, threw it together (installed four casters), and tested it out in the driveway - it's pretty damn cool - no more tearing up the driveway with the stand, no more looking for a flat spot in the grass to take it off, to only then to curse the day I took it off in...

    Any BX grass catcher owners?

I didn't respond right-away given your question was around the BX23S and any issues with the backhoe frame, which I do not have, as I have a BX2380, but I will say the grass catcher is awesome. Yes, it's pricy, yes, it's a pain in the rear to set up/store, and yes it's pretty loud, but I doesn't...

Pros and cons of snow removal options

I only have last winter as a gauge and I have a rear mounted snowblower, but I didn't find the need at any point for chains. I do have a paved driveway, which is nearly flat (has a slope from the road to allow for drainage), but even in 1'-1.5' of the white stuff (and that's New England snow)...

Question on BX23D pto selection and resulting movements

As "85Hokie" stated, you need to raise your rear (and mid) 3-point ALL THE WAY UP before the mower height selector knob will move, its a VERY common ask around here (I've asked before), don't go crazy on that as you will cause damage to the splined connection point for that height selector, try...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Threw a JU Fabworks workmaster plate on the BX and started to learn how to move a trailer around while connected to the bucket... As someone who has only ever pulled said trailer behind their vehicle once, so know nothing about trailer movement, this kind of broke my brain a bit. Given the slow...

B26 TLB - Broken rear axle

I do run a rear snowblower ~450lbs in the winter, and the power bagger + MMM is about the same weight, plus the weight of the tractor.. maybe I'm overthinking it?

B26 TLB - Broken rear axle

Curious if you were able to get any more information around the spacers? Also, what direction did you take, did the dealer offer? Selfishly curious about the spacers, as that was one of the first things folks on here told me to do with the BX2380, I only added 2" spacers to each side, but its...

    LP SB1051 gearbox oil/oil change?

I decided to give it a try, since it was only $5 at Harbor Freight - it worked, but yeah, the hoses are super flexible, to the point that it would essentially vacuum too hard and compress so much, that it would seal itself closed.. I was able to massage the tubing enough to get it to work, but...

    LP SB1051 gearbox oil/oil change?

Thanks for the quick reply, and agree that the cost is quite low to simply do it once a year. I've got loads of those types of syringes, been using them for hydraulic brake changes on bicycles. After a quick search, I'm gonna go grab one of these...

    LP SB1051 gearbox oil/oil change?

Hello- As we slowly make our way into the colder months (yes, it's been unseasonably cold and rainy here in Maine), I wanted to ensure my snowblower is ready for the coming winter (expected to be a brutal winter), and I was wondering how to change the gearbox oil on a Land Pride SB1051, but the...

Did a 3rd function install decrease your lift capacity?

Noob suggestion, as I've not put the 3rd function on my BX, but could it simply be low on fluid, given additional lines in the mix, might it need more fluid to keep up with the additional lines? Again, take my suggestion and throw it out, if I'm off base here.

    GCK60-BX

Pretty sure that is the same thing I have on my BX2380 (2018 year model), so I'd say yes.

    Operating BX's FEL on pavement?

Thanks all for the replies, I forgot that I turned off email notifications, so assumed this received no responses. It sounds like the group is pretty split on the 2wd vs 4wd, but there is consensus around ballast, taking it slow, and only operating the tractor where feels safe. I would need...

    Operating BX's FEL on pavement?

This question has been pinging around in my head for some time now, and I'd like to get the opinions of this crew. I know that you're not supposed to run these tractors (BX 2380 in my case) in 4x4 mode when on pavement or other hard surfaces, but curious how you all go about operating the FEL...

Why won’t my BX2380 mower deck lock in top position?

Are you wanting it to stay in the top position after you've turned the tractor off? If so, from what I understand, since the deck is heavy, and the hydraulic fluid is free to move through the system, gravity will simply drop the mower deck once it has had time to settle. I have the same thing...

mower height adjustment stuck on bx2380

Thanks for the assist with this, since it was on the 3-point hydro arms, I was able to easily raise it up, drop the legs, but then struggled to get the pressure off, so threw a car jack under the bagger assembly, raised it up, shortened both the arms and then it was in place. The pto connection...

mower height adjustment stuck on bx2380

Makes a lot of sense. I did get some extra bits and pieces (another fixed link arm) since I bought this used - maybe I can figure it out, I got the bagger mounted, although incorrectly, without the manual, lol. I see your photos, I do have those hard mounted ears, so should be able to figure it...

mower height adjustment stuck on bx2380

Super interesting, I'll have to take a look at this set up after I get done with work today. I'll also grab a few photos of it 'set up' using the normal 3-point mounting - it has worked for two mows now, so maybe its a change for next year, unless it does indeed cause any issues..

mower height adjustment stuck on bx2380

Very interesting - I don't have the instructions for this, and do have it mounted via the 3-point hitch arms - but found this video () that shows it in a fixed position. Do you or anyone have the manual for this thing, wondering if I'm causing it harm the way I have it mounted?
