Noob suggestion, as I've not put the 3rd function on my BX, but could it simply be low on fluid, given additional lines in the mix, might it need more fluid to keep up with the additional lines? Again, take my suggestion and throw it out, if I'm off base here.

Are you wanting it to stay in the top position after you've turned the tractor off? If so, from what I understand, since the deck is heavy, and the hydraulic fluid is free to move through the system, gravity will simply drop the mower deck once it has had time to settle. I have the same thing...

Very interesting - I don't have the instructions for this, and do have it mounted via the 3-point hitch arms - but found this video () that shows it in a fixed position. Do you or anyone have the manual for this thing, wondering if I'm causing it harm the way I have it mounted?
