    l3800 transmission noise

I really don't understand the problem....so what it's a little noisy, get over it, it's a tractor and a damn good one. I wear ear muffs with my cub cadet lawn tractor. If that doesn't work for ya wire up a kick ass stereo. Are ya gonna put up with a little noise or buy a stick. For me a little...

    Decided on L3800

I don't have my tires loaded...the dealer warned me against it ....said it is hard on the tire if your in the woods getting fire wood which I do. I do have chains which are great but man if you don't have weight on the rear they sure bounce the tractor a lot...hard on the body. As for the L3800...

    My Attempt at a Cab

That is one nice job done. Looks like you have a lot of driveway to clear also. I've got 1.3 km's to clear....sure would be nice to have a cab. I already have a mig welder so probably when it gets warmer. Do you think you'll need a windshield wiper along with the heater?

    Decided on L3800

Congrats on the L3800, I think you'll like it. I just did the 50 hour service on mine. Got the quick attach bucket, 62" snow plow, box scraper, drawbar and snow blower. I didn't fill the rear tires yet but added spacers and chains. At this point I don't know how I ever did without it.

    l3800 transmission noise

Probably not the answer but make sure you don't have your brakes locked on. That happened to me when I first got the L3800, sounded like the noise you are describing. Another thing is I'm pretty sure your not supposed to run in high range until after the 50 hour service. I have no cab and yes...

    Kubota L3800

Thanks...Ive got different chains than you ...kinda got a square in the center. As soon as I get them on I'll take a picture. I'm looking forward to the spacers. I have a Toyota Tacoma with a 3" lift with 1.5" spacers. I couldn't believe the difference in how stable it is. The only reason I'm...

    Kubota L3800

The dealer recommended chains. I was in touch with them today and they ordered me a set of 1.5 inch spacers. They treated me real good on the price, the sales man said because he recommened the chains they would pay half the cost for the spacers so they will cost me 170.00.

    Kubota L3800

Hi guys, I'm the new guy. I just bought the 3800 and a set of chains for it. When I tryed to install I found there wasn't enough clearance at the inner wheel. I call the dearler about a set of wheel spacers but the guy there told me I should be able to widen the with by taking off the rear...

    Walco chains

Hello all, I just bought a new L3800 tractor with the front end loader, a snow plow and a box scraper. The dealer told me that I would need chains for plowing snow which I bought, a set of walco chains. Today I tryed to install the chains but they rub on the inner fender. Not much clearance...
