If it were mine I would just change the oil twice. Change it completely including filter then change again after an hour or so. it would be less costly than removing the pan even with synthetic oil. Ed

I would check the charge suction strainer before I committed to rebuilding the HST. Then overhaul or replace the charge pump. parts for the main part of the hst are very expensive and likely hard to get for your b7200

I think you are hearing the classic combustion sound of a diesel engine under load. Have you listened to any other diesel's under similar condition's? I don't think I'd be concerned about it. Ed
