    Time to test the Toothbar

I purchase that toothbar last winter for my BX1880. This spring it turned my BX into a little monster. Surprising how much more I can do with it. I can put it on and off in minutes. It will do more than I ever expected after using the standard blade on the bucket. I have been waiting for...

Anyone here own a boat, or know a lot about boats?

Anodes are usually placed on most boats regardless of whether they are one the outboard motor. I had a 29 foot lobster boat where I had an zinc anode on the propeller shaft, and other one outside water cooling pipes. I have also had them on the outboard of all the smaller boats that had...

    Added an SAE power port

I did exactly the same thing last year with the same SAE port. I not only added one on my BX tractor I also put on on my Polaris Ranger to maintain the battery during cold winter months. Good Job.

    Pole saws

If you have a battery platform like Stihl, Makita, Milwaukee, then you want to stick with one of those. i have several and those are Greenworks 60v, Makita 18v, Kobalt 24v, and a cheapo HF Bauer. I decided to go with the Greenworks 60v platform simply because of tool, and battery cost. The...

    Bought 5Eleven radiator guards…not having a good time…

When I drill metal, I use the slowest speed my drill press, or hand drill can go.

    Bought 5Eleven radiator guards…not having a good time…

I have found out that everything I try to drill on my Kubota tractor has steel made from kryptonite. i like you have broken many bits, and spent a lot of time. I do suggest a good cutting oil, as that does help and speed up the job.

Anyone here own a boat, or know a lot about boats?

I do know a lot about boats. I have owned about 6 bass boats, a 24 ft Grady white, and a 33 ft Young Brothers commercial boat. It is easy to get swayed by the inboard outboard, but it is a poor choice. They are a bear to work on, and if it goes bad it is a horror to replace. If you are...

advise on shed roof trusses diy

I purchased a 12x16 ft shed a few years ago, and it had trusses like the ones in the first pic. I immediately notice that the center of the roof was already starting to bow down. Checking the trusses, I could tell they were installed very cheaply. I decided to beef up the trusses myself, with...

    Pole saws

I also have the Greenworks 60v platorm and have the polesaw, blower and trimmer for around bushes and low grass. It works remarkably well with plenty of power. I don't think my Stihl can take limbs off as fast as the polesaw does. Most of my gas tools are Stihl, and electric either Kobalt...

    Moving rotary cutter around. Dolly?

I bought 4 of those Harbor Freight dollies, for $14 each. Then I took the wheels off and built dolly's the size I needed for my mid mount mower, and snowblower. Cheapest wheels anywhere, and they work great. I still have left over for whatever.

    Deck Dolly

Now I think that is the best idea of all. I have several of those dollys at the house. I will dedicate one to this idea. Tnx.

    Kubota flat faced couplers

Thanks for the info... I have not been using gloves, or eyewear, but will from now on. I will have to find a hydraulic shop. Maybe NAPA will do it.

    Kubota flat faced couplers

Kind of what I thought, but hoped, just maybe. I saw a video where someone made up a hose maybe 18 inch long, but with the non flat couplers.

    Kubota flat faced couplers

I have a question, and maybe someone knows the answer. When I disconnected the loader on my BX1880 this winter to put on the the snowblower, i did everything right to disconnect the lines so there would be no pressure when I hooked up this spring. Nope there was pressure in the lines, and I...

Post a picture of your Kubota Front Mount Snowblower, please.

Those bolts look like ordinary bolts to me. If they are 5/16 it would hurt to try the the ones I sent a picture of. They have a definite breaking point on them. Cheaper than doing damage to chain etc.

    Deck Dolly

Seems a lot of us have the same problem storing the mower deck.. Probably just a matter of time before some one comes out with a dolly we can all buy to store the mower. I live where there is a lot of snow and don't like the idea of storing any of my implements outside in the snow.

Post a picture of your Kubota Front Mount Snowblower, please.

Oh that isn't good. Was it a genuine shear bolt, or just a plain 5/16 bolt. Maybe the previous owner didn't replace it with a genuine shear bolt with lock an lock washer. if you check and find it has a plain bolt, you will understand the cause of the breakdown. The proper shear bolt looks...
