    Kubota L2002 3 pt hitch

The relief valve will be associated with the control valve (the one the up/down handle is hooked to). Follow the handle down to the valve assembly, take it apart and start your search. :)

    Hydraulics for boom arms

Sounds like the arms that need moving are pretty lightweight. I absolutely get the wanting to use the fancy new hydraulics stuff you have, but considering the cost of hose and fittings, I would seriously consider just doing this job with electric linear actuators (if the force needed is as small...

How to check tire pressure with liquid filled tires

I use a tire inflator with a hose leading to the air chuck, and a trigger to add air. The advantage of this is that even if you allow some fluid into the hose, it won't make it as far as the gauge unless you're actually using the thing to deflate the tire, and when you're done (and hooked to...

    B6000 midmount pto?

That's very interesting!! I have 4 of these things sitting here (2x6100, 2x7100) and im gonna climb under at least some of them and look.. I've only glanced at that area in passing so far. None of these have needed to be taken apart there.. yet.😂

    B7100 Hydraulic block diverter (70060-00360 or 70070-00385)

No rush on my end. Hopefully the motor isn't too painful a repair.

    B6000 midmount pto?

Difficult for me to tell from the tiny pic, but if you guys have 2wd tractors you are probably looking at the thing the front driveshaft would be hooked to IF you had 4wd. If that's the case i would call it the front output shaft. I don't think any of these old Bs had a mid PTO except the...

    BX 3-Cylinder Turbo?

A diesel engine will rev as far as it can with the fuel you give it and the the load it's straining against. In most cases if you are part throttle, the reason a diesel doesn't spin faster and just 'stops' at a certain rpm is because you're already burning all the fuel you're giving it, which...

Dirt Dog (CBX60) or Tarter BB205BL Box Blade for BX23S

Considering I added weight to my box blade, and then dropped it crooked on the ground at the tractor's top speed and don't have a mark to show for it, the box blade i own has proven to be good enough for me in a way that cannot be disproven by anything said on the internet. Your post honestly...

Dirt Dog (CBX60) or Tarter BB205BL Box Blade for BX23S

The thing about a light blade is you can still add weight to it to help it cut in if you decide you need to. I have a 60" TSC box blade I pull behind my B6100. I can actually pull it ok unless i have all 5 rippers down and am trying to get more than a couple inches down. The problem I run into...

Does Kubota offer a loader attachment that'll lift a MMM deck?

If I had a mower deck on the same tractor that had a loader on it i'd just put the bucket on something tall and push the bucket down until the whole tractor was up near a 45 degree angle (probably limited by your 3pt 'wheelie arms', lol) , set the parking brake, and then get a stool and just...

Vertical exhaust mod on my B5100.

So i did put a 'turndown' on this 6100 im fixing up for my friend. Before the muffler blew straight forward onto the loader crossmember/hoses leaving that whole area sooty and potentially overheated under certain conditions. I had a muffler on my parts tractor b7100 that had a 90 degree turn...

    3 point hitch wont lift

Did i miss whether you said you got the tractor like this, or you had it working before? One possible simple thing that could cause this would be if you switched the 'neutral' and 'tank' connections to the loader.. i think.. Instead of feeding the 3pt ALL the flow that wasn't used by the...

    3 point hitch wont lift

Disclaimer: I also have not availed myself of this workshop manual. Just an ASE master tech going on 20 years who hasn't found tractors to be more complicated than cars.. yet! Just jinxed myself though, didn't i.. Yes, but.. not exactly. The power steering kind of needs to have its own...

    3 point hitch wont lift

Well, since you can block the pressure line to the back with your FINGER then yeah, stop worrying about the valve, the relief, any of the stuff past that. As far as the flow divider function for the power steering, i have an inkling that the flow divider might be in place even on tractors that...

    Kubota B6000 wheel/tyre size

I operated two different b6100 4wds over the weekend, one with loader and box blade, one with loader and backhoe. One has 22x8x10 front and 29x12/5-15 rear, the other has 6-12 front and 8-16 rear. You can tell what's going on immediately when you touch that 4wd lever. It doesn't want to come...

    3 point hitch wont lift

Did a little google search.. not sure what you mean by divider, as there is probably some kind of priority valve/divider for your steering circuit and im not sure whether you're talking about the same thing i'm talking about here, but.. There certainly appears to be a valve there, with a...

    3 point hitch wont lift

I know my B8200 has a valve you can rotate to direct flow to either the loader or the 3pt. I don't know if your tractor has that but i'd sure go looking. I almost hate to say it but if that valve exists on your tractor, it's possible the fix was as easy as turning the knob. 🤬

    B670 Backhoe

Ouch.. I had to see this only a couple days after I installed those plates.. Now they're sort of tedious to get back off! Hopefully you've already got this figured out but if not, i can at least tell you that they aren't overly complicated. They engage the 3 17mm bolts behind the axle shaft...

Warming HST oil VS engine oil

Anyone heard of this one? Looks like it clicks the major points for a fairly powerful pre-heater that will turn itself off when it gets to temp. Frost Heater I'm a South Texan mechanic so while i'm familiar with the issues, i'm not familiar with any actual brands since we don't use any of it...

Warming HST oil VS engine oil

I think the term pour point implies that it is a minimum temperature. Interesting thread, even if it's probably been covered many times. As far as heating oil vs coolant, there is a significant difference: coolant is pumped by a centrifugal pump, and oil is pumped by a fixed displacement pump...
