    Battery Light on L2250

Crum! It's raining, so maybe I'm not looking as carefully as I should, but I'm not finding the spark plug wires. Guess I'll have to use one of my VOMs (neither of which I can get to work right; the readings are always nonsense, not even close to the voltage or whatever I'm checking!) and try to...

    Battery Light on L2250

What about a magneto? Any similar test (other than the VOM)?

Look'n up to see the bottom

OTD, I don't have your circumstances, yet I feel pain from your travails -- particularly from the vendor (Grainfarmer) who treated you so badly. You've made light of your issues several times; nevertheless, I don't want to make wisecracks about it. That being said, I am intrigued by your...

    Homemade box blade

DT, your brief comments represent 'BoxBlade 201' to me; far more education than I would get riding beside you on mdhughes's mule. Thank you very, very much for the explanation! (And I must admonish you: it makes the hair on the back of my neck stand at attention when you anticipate my question...

    L 185 with a cooling problem

Do you mean that your 'great neighbor' (what a wonderful neighbor!) did the fab on the gauge dashboard? That is some very nice sheet metal work!

    Homemade box blade

LROL So sorry, DT, I know that was a shock in every way possible, and hurt feelings, pride, as well as butt. I guess I'm just a slug, but it made me burst out laughing. Just the sorta thing I do all the time!

mounting front fenders on M 108

Quick Giggle search reveals that 10mm threads (M10) are 1.25 and 1.5. Should be available at your local Ace. (They also have rattle cans of Rust-Oleum that's a fair match to the new orange color.)

    L 185 with a cooling problem

No pump; uses thermal siphon. Cooling problems can be from low coolant; wrong coolant mix; clogged radiator; bad radiator cap; etc., etc. Suggestion: do a forum search for L185 cooling problem (including whatever key words you think would help) and see if you can get some idea of how to...

An easy way to change L35 fan belt?

Sweets, that's not what you say! This is when you say, "Without pictures, it didn't happen!" Oh, Danny Boy! This is a great post, and fabulous tutorial. I differ with Skeets: only thing missing is your little wife, tugging on the line. If I had an L35, I'd be researching the routes and cost of...

New B6200 user - getting Hyraulics working

Thanks for the feedback! I'm going to keep a couple of your "procedures" in mind when I have to put mine on life-support. One thing I'd suggest is to be wary of your fluid. I've read that moisture doesn't completely settle out -- I gather that it must be either filtered out or evaporated out.

    Search function

That's a *great* suggestion! Mr_K outta make it a 'stickie' or put it in the How-To since Giggle has already cached all our pages!

Safety locks for front end loader

Aw, DB, you so clever! I'm gonna start a collection of yer 'designs', and start adding stuff to my stash of stuff. I'm having trouble imagining what jig you would have had to make that would take long. What make/model bandsaw do you have? And grinding them in two must have taken a *while*! (I...

BH 92 falls to the ground

Sad to say I don't have the knowledge to help you. But seeing you've had almost 50 viewers in the last couple of hours with no responses, I'll give you my best advice: do a search (in this section) for hydraulic problems. You might start with filters for your B92, leakdown, etc. There are a...

    D722 engine for sale

Each of your posts has a button, 'Edit' in the lower-right corner. Clicking that button lets you change or delete the post. I *think* if the first post in a thread is deleted, it deletes the thread. Hope that helps.

    hydraulic hoses

Oaksey, having a spare on hand when a hose fails is a good idea. However, as several folk have advised, they give a *lot* of advance notice when near the end of their useful life. On the other hand, as Tooljunkie mentioned, it sometimes happens that we get in an awkward position and snag one...

    L60 series weight questions

I think you have it well scoped out on the weight. I'm in the dark about length; not much experience there. One thing you might think of that would let you stay with a smaller trailer so the 1/2-ton can pull it: load your hog first, then load the tractor/loader, with the bucket over the hog...
