Several years ago I was having coffee with Tony one morning at the old Del's drive-in in Ione. My wife was the morning cook there. I told Tony that we wanted to get our concealed weapons permits. He went out to his car and came back with the paper work and wrote them out right there.:)

They probably would be pretty brittle. But it might be worth a try. Might try doing a small area then check for for cracks. Maybe raise it a little and scratch the surface a few times. I don't have a tooth bar on my fel, so I wrapped a long chain around the fel several times and kept back...

Might also work for breaking up ice in the driveway.:)

On my bx24 the cap is plastic. It has two little slits on each side. Just squeeze it at those points and pull it off. I assume yours is the same.

Thanks Wolfman, but I don't really want the headlights to work. I'm afraid if they did the little guy would want to stay up all night driving it.

Another update. Well I'm making a little more progress. I just stuck the white disc's on the front to get an idea of how I'm going to make the "pretend" headlights. The tail lights & parking lights will be on all the time when it's running. Before everyone jumps on my back, I know the front...

In my opinion, all this smog crap on all types of motors is making a lot of people rich. They've gone completely overboard with it.:(

I had to replace the hst fan on my bx24. It's a major job. Afterwards I made a shield for it. If for some reason I ever have to replace it again, while I have it torn apart I'm going to cut the drive shaft and put a rigid coupling in it. I wish I had done it the first time around. I don't know...

Update; Well it's finally starting to take shape. At least it doesn't look like a lawnmower anymore. Here's where I'm at with it today. When I get it built I will disassemble it & paint it. (to cold to paint now)

I agree with Wolfman. I've seen chains and cables break or slip off the load when under a lot of pressure. It's not a pretty sight.
