Yeah the ole Texas Highway guys has some that run on propane, but just that. If it was up to me I would get a duce 1/2 and fix her up! Nothing feels quite right when gettn shot at and having her turbo screaming.

What type of welders do ya'll use and why? Need some real indepth insight on this.

I love my HST pedal and I am 5' 11" with 12 1/2 EEE boots! Old school I never had a HST!!:D Then again it was always them off color tractors :p

Sorry Eric, did not mean to ad a PM Check but sounds good here. One thing some people forget is a simple greasing of the rams (pistions) if your not going to use the tractor for 2 weeks or more. What the grease does is coat the nice shinny pistion so rust don't get on there and tear up your ring...

Have to say he is right, good as gold, because I get stuck much at what I do I even use the FEL to push, as I am backing out or pull me out. Ag tires is what I have and I would not have traded for any other. You have to think about even more of what your going to do with it.

Had a thought today for your dad. How about a stick mounted by 2 screws on the pedal? Place a stick shift knob on top. Justa FYI I grew up as a boy on stick shifts but now like pedals just as much with 12 1/2 EEE foot. Awh, yes, back in the day farming

Yeah, the L3400 HST, 4x4 and 0 Turn all have it on there!! Even the trucks and cars. My head has been hurtn like hell.

I have had a FEL do the same with low fluids do to my HST leak. After replacing fluid and just about same as you did everything has worked well. With any high pressure leak of this type of fluids make sure not to check it while there is pressure, it will shoot the fluid in to your skin and...
