Favorite tool holders (for 3901-ish sized tractors)

And I think I like the idea of a right side vertical rack even more !! Does anyone know if such a product exists? (I'm learning to weld, but I'm not very skilled yet.)

Favorite tool holders (for 3901-ish sized tractors)

I like the idea of the horizontal, right-side rack !

Not quite what I was looking for, but thx.

Favorite tool holders (for 3901-ish sized tractors)

I have a 3901. I'd like some sort of tool rack for a few tools, like a shovel and a rake. You guys have any favorite tool racks you'd recommend?

Moving yards and yards of material, a hay wagon?

I think I saw these before I learned about the roller-device for unloading. At this point, I've got a little more to do with my current project. If it unloads well, I might just move the whole bed assembly to one of these "field tuffs". I'll report on my progress...

Moving yards and yards of material, a hay wagon?

Clever approach to dumping. Not ideal, but not bad.

Moving yards and yards of material, a hay wagon?

Well that's exactly what I want, just don't have the money for a new one. I live in Washington state, and I haven't had much luck looking for wagons on the internet.

Moving yards and yards of material, a hay wagon?

Can you provide more information for "260" and "248"? Is there a make or model? Is it a 4-wheel wagon?

Moving yards and yards of material, a hay wagon?

It would be great if I could use the drawbar directly, but the trailer is like a simple implement and I need to adjust the height of the 3-point hitch every time I attach the trailer. Yeah, I wish the hoses weren't jam-up-able but they are. I guess I have less room than you do (4701 envy ;) )

Moving yards and yards of material, a hay wagon?

Most bed liners are gritty by design. I think it's mostly with dump truck liners that they're smooth.

Moving yards and yards of material, a hay wagon?

A good idea, but a few issues I'd have to work thru: - the handle used to unroll the sheet is already very close to the ground at its low point, so I'd have to shorten the handle. - I've got rear hydraulics and I don't want the 3-point to go too high and jam up the hoses. I never really use...

Moving yards and yards of material, a hay wagon?

Okay, some progress! I used some running gear I had and built a small two-wheel trailer, the bed is 4' x 6.5', the running gear can handle 1500 pounds. Not a lot but much more than what I can currently do. And I got the unloader like you suggested. After one trial run it's clear that I need a...

Moving yards and yards of material, a hay wagon?

This is very interesting, I could turn my F350 into a trailer... hmmmm... In the past I've moved material in my truck, but unloading was always a pain.. hmmm..

Moving yards and yards of material, a hay wagon?

Yes. I was thinking I might have to add corner jacks to the side I unloaded from. The countryMFG dump trailer is more than I wanted to spend, but it might end up not being that much more if I have to do a bunch of tweaking to a flatbed... sigh

Moving yards and yards of material, a hay wagon?

Yes, using my 3901 to load, tow, and unload. Luckily our farm is fairly level, but it's good to keep braking in mind.

Moving yards and yards of material, a hay wagon?

This is an ongoing need. I move sand and gravel, windfall, brambles, manure, compost... Yes, my idea is to back drag from the sides of the wagon, and then do cleanup of the dumped piles. But I'm open to other ideas...

Moving yards and yards of material, a hay wagon?

I've got yards and yards of stuff to move around the farm, which is about 2000' from south to north, so every trip takes some time. I'm thinking about getting a small hay wagon like the picture below (1 or 2 ton capacity). My thought is it ought to be fairly easy to unload by using the FEL to...

    Long Term Diesel Storage?

Actually our zip code is located in a rain shadow, which is on the dry side. All of the surrounding areas are indeed wet climates, but not ours :)

    Long Term Diesel Storage?

We have a state approved ag. business and the truck is used only for ag. purposes, so we're good there :) == So, I'm getting a lot of feedback about condensation (which I've heard about before), but this seems like a problem no matter what. Are we to top off our tractor tank after every...
