    Tooth bar

I put my PTB to work Friday. I was cutting back our roads at the camp in an area we haven't cut in two years. There are a lot of 2-3" sweet gum and other trees that have growth up on the edges of the roads. They were too big to cut with my rotatory cutter so I lowered my PTB about 3-4" off the...

I like my new pallet forks

They are manufactured by United and weigh 320 lbs. Like you, I was concerned with the weight since my tractor will only lift about 1,100 lbs. I went with the United forks because they are made in the USA. Shipping was quick too...

I like my new pallet forks

I recently purchased 48" pallet forks from Titan Attachments. I've got a lot of use out of them in a short time. One thing that I'm getting used to is the turning radius. I've wacked a few trees. I went with the 48 inchers since I wanted to move some deer stands. [/url]Untitled by bambam32...

Grand L series HST speed select question??

I have a similar issue with mine. It never wants to go into gear easily and never has. I always depress the clutch when changing gears but lately I have found that shifting without depressing the clutch works better. Sometimes I have to move forward and few inches and it will go into gear...

    First time tractor buyer

I have an L3800 which is close to the L3901. I use it at the hunting camp to mow, disc, repair roads, move stands, push dead trees, etc. It does everything I've asked it to do but it will not move a fully loaded pallet of lime or seed. I have the LA524 loader. Its lifting capacity is around...

    New tractor - fuel additive

I've always used it since I bought my tractor new. My tractor sits a lot too and I've never had a problem. I also filter my fuel. I plan to stick to the same procedure.

Do you filter fuel into can or into tractor?

I think I'm going to switch to this method for a while. We have a hurricane headed our way and I did not have time to filter my diesel today. Thanks for the responses.

Do you filter fuel into can or into tractor?

I use a Mr. Funnel filter when I fill up my cans. I'll admit, it's a pain. It's really a pain when the diesel pump has higher pressure too. I've thought about switching to filtering when I fuel up my tractor. It would sure save me some time at the pump holding the filter in one hand and the...

Why is there a clutch lock on the L 3800?

I have the same tractor and don't think I have a clutch lock. Where is it located? Pics would be great.

    Telescopic stabilizers for L2501

I recently ordered some stabilizers from Mark Hodge. His business is doing well and it took him about two months to fabricate mine. I contacted him by email from his youtube video.

    Implement for Deer Food Plot

I have been subscribing to this method for a few years. It has definitely save a lot of time and expense. Last year, instead of mowing, I sprayed, lightly ran over the plot one time with the disk, broadcasted seed and fertilizer and then lightly disked again. All the dead vegetation laid over...

    L3800 w/modifications in Alabama

Awesome L3800 with nice modifications in lower Alabama. This ad is on craigslist in my area. Low hours. I have the same tractor and I think I'll be using some of these ideas. https://mobile.craigslist.org/grd/d/kubota-l3800-4x4-hunting-camp/6285407871.html

    homemade sun shade / canopy

I had a machine shop fabricate a frame and I topped it with a 4x6' 3/4" piece of plywood. I painted the frame with bed liner. Total spend was about $350. I wanted a large canopy for Alabama summers but didn't want to pay $1,000. It worked great in the rain Sunday too. A pic before I rounded...

Hey I really appreciate the feedback. I might just try to find an offset or a sliding model.

    Grader Blade Modification

I want to extend my reach beyond my tires when angled. Many of our roads have deep ditches and I don't want to put my tires close to the edge.

    Grader Blade Modification

I have 6' grader blade and I want to modify it and make it an 8 footer. I only have $275 in the implement and it has multiple adjustments. I'm thinking it'll be cheaper than buying a new 8 footer. It'll have to take it to a machine shop since I don't have any welding skills. Has anyone ever...
