    It’s not a Kubota......

I got the 12V conversion done. I had the original 6V generator rebuilt and converted to 12V then I replaced the voltage regulator with a matched 12V one. I have the original hydraulics for it. I am rebuilding that now. I am going to put rear remotes on it. A friend picked up the body panels to...

    It’s not a Kubota......

GoeHorn those are some nice show tractors! I would be afraid to go into the woods and pull a log with those! I am restoring mine to what I call first class working order. Mine was 6 volt positive ground. You can’t jump it. A winch would be very expensive and you are limited to what lighting you...

    It’s not a Kubota......

I believe those are from around the 1930’s. Do you have any pictures? My great uncle had a model W 12-20. Those came out in 1918 and sold for $1385. I have the book for it and the radiator. Dad said it was wore out when he bought it. Dad remembers playing on it when he was a kid.

    It’s not a Kubota......

Thanks guys! Dad let me start driving it when I was 10. By the time I was 12 I was plowing the garden and bush hogging by myself. It has a 4 cylinder Hercules motor. Anderson made an after market 3 point hitch for it. It was braced off of the transmission case and we continually broke bolts...

    It’s not a Kubota......

It’s my 1951 Oliver Crawler HG-68. My family bought this brand new in 51. I am in the process of restoring it to first class working order. Not show quality. I have rebuilt the motor. Years ago I converted it to a distributor system. I have just converted from 6V positive ground to 12V negative...

    Is the BX1880 enough

Yes you will need a ballast. I made mine. I used a plastic 30 gal drum. Cut the top off and run a hitch bar through the center and a center link hook on top. hooked them together with some rebar and filled it with concrete. It weighs about 450lbs. It works real good! Very necessary when I use...

    Is the BX1880 enough

I used 2 lawn tractors for 20 years with bar tread rear tires to contend with hills on my 20 acres. We mow about 3ac of it. I had transaxle trouble with both. I was shopping for a new one and everyone was telling me I cannot use bar tread with hydrostat because I will take out the transmission...

    Lift arm tilt cylinder

Thanks! I searched everything and this place would not come up. i installed a 3rd valve for a grapple. But my 3 point hitch gets used the most. I am considering running a second set of hoses to that valve to run the tilt cylinder when not using the grapple. Then in time I may put the rear valves...

    Lift arm tilt cylinder

Yep I called them this morning. That is one thing they do not have. I bought my 3rd function for my BX2380 from them. They are real good to work with.

    Lift arm tilt cylinder

Thinking about adding T&T and rear remotes to my Ford 1720. Where is a good place to source a tilt cylinder? I am able to do some fabrication if needed. Ron

Anybody use a box blade WITHOUT top & tilt?

i have had my box blade about 5 years now. I am looking hard at installing T&T on my Ford 1720. Guaranteed it’s more expensive now. Where did you get your parts to do it? Trying to figure out where to start. I just installed the WR Long 3rd function for a grapple. Ron

Back Blade for snow removal with horse mat

I checked out a youtube tube and then tried it on the 48” blade on my ATV setup. I cut the PVC 1” longer than my blade then cut the slot with a table saw. It worked great! It solved the problem of digging into the gravel. I was skeptical about if it would stay on or not. No problems at all. I...

    Sharing Grapple with 2 tractors

My local Kubota dealer was also a New Holland dealer for many years. My Ford was purchased new there. They recommended just what you mentioned. They said to use regular UDT in my Ford with a gear transmission. They said the two will work together just fine and the mixing will be very minimal...

    Sharing Grapple with 2 tractors

My Ford 1720 and my Kubota 2380 use different hydraulic fluids. One is a gear transmission and one is a hydrostatic transmission. Will I contaminate one fluid with the other? Is there a way to flush the grapple? Or is this even an issue? Ron

    Fair Trade Price

My new BX2380 is the first HST tractor I have owned. I won’t buy another gear drive. I bought it with SSQA. My Ford 1720 is gear drive. No more than I use it and the fact it is very low hours I don’t see the need to trade up. I may go ahead and spend the $1800 and add a WR Long 3rd valve kit...

I just purchased a BX2380 w/ 54” mmm, Swift-tach loader with a quick attach bucket, full tank of fuel, 2 tee shirts, 2 hats :D out the door for $15,000. I order the land pride 3rd valve kit from Messicks for $780. Installed that myself. I have a grapple ordered from EA.
