    B6100d clutch release bearing woes

Hi Stanster. It does not sound good. But you can try to set up the clutch. It has to be worth a shot. If it ends up that you have to split the tractor it's not as big a job as you might think. And these little tractors are fairly easy to work on. Good luck and keep us posted.:D Dusty

    Hydraulic pressure

Wow Joshua that is nasty. Please keep us updated on the fix. For you this is a horrible thing to find. And we all feel bad that it turned out this way. But I know that all of us are interested in the fix. Good luck and if what you have planned does not work, I am sure that Handyman or some of the...

    G1900 Throttle troubles

Hey Moralem. I am sorry, you don't have to install another ground. On these old tractors they ground the battery to the rear housing, right beside the battery. The ground path from the ground on the rear end to the starter may not be as good as when the tractor was new. It is just like with...

I want to buy a Kubota, but....

A little bit of overkill is best when considering a loader. You plan on lifting only a thousand pounds but at 40 inches from the loader pins that turns into a lot more than a thousand pounds. The extra money for a tractor that will do what you want without straining the snot out of the tractor...

    G1900 Throttle troubles

I don't Know. What else could it be. Unless the cable is close to a heat source and even then it should show damage from the outside. A live wire shorting against the cable itself? Moralem and Eric should get together and discuss this. I hate wiring so bad that I would just disconnect or cut...

    G1900 Throttle troubles

It seems that on every tractor I have owned I always end up running a seperate ground from the battery to one of the starter motor mounting bolts. I need to make a better effort to keep my connections.:D Dusty

Location of Vent For Hydraulics on B6200

Hi Dave. Welcome to the forum. On my B7200 the vent was at the back of the tractor underneath the bracket that held the top link. On my B8200 it is in pretty much in the same spot but exposed. But your diagnosis sounds right. The vent may be just a small plastic cap or on the 8200 it almost...

    More pictures of my work.

My son and my son inlaw say that every thing I own is emotional to use (mostly fear) partly because of overkill on hitches bumpers and anything else I can beef up. Ugly isn't always bad in my books.:D Dusty

Well your Dad and I would get along great. That old ford of mine was on engine number 4 when I finally put it down. Up here the road salt just eats the body. Your dads truck and your trailer still make a nice lookin unit goin down the road. There are a lot of people who would not tackle that job...

I had a lot of fun with that truck. Made a bit of money with it too. Hauling cement crew and forms and such. All farm work manure pits bunker silos barn foundations. lots of mud spring and fall.
