Well I worked for 3 1/2 hrs today grading for a new round pen ( horse pen) and when I was done I asked for $250 the lady was so happy with the job she gave me $300 and wants me back next week to mow 5 to 6 acres of mustard.

I graded a new pad for a round pen for one of the neighbors worked my L3830 for 4 hours and made $300 I asked for $250 and the gal was so happy with what I had done she gave me $300

What's everyone charging an hour for grading and brush hogging ? I have a L3830 and have been asked to do some grading and brush hogging for a new neighbor the soil has no rock will be leveling an area to put up some round pens for horses and the brush hogging will consist of cutting green...

Brought the my Grand L3830 to our shop changed all fluids and filters , greased checked air pressure in all tires and even put a coat of wax on her . Tractors serviced and shinning like a new nickel , I'm doing a grading job tomorrow for a neighbor getting ready for another round pen for her horses.

I run mine just a hair over idel with the heavey Adobe we have here in Ca it works great. Just make sure you raise the auger every 8" to 12" you dig.

Don't worry about the nay sayers I have a Grand L3830 have owned it for 6 years put 600 plus hours on it and have spent $0 on repairs but I do service it when needed and I don't abuse it my only expenditure has been servicing and one set of front tires . Enjoy your Kubota

Not sure what the GPM is on your M9000 , but the first question is why not go with a PTO auger?

Buy a heavier trailer nothing worse than stress it's the silent killer . Once you have a heavier trailer youve done all you can to avoid an accident . Over the years I've seen some trailer accidents that were avoidable only if someone had been thinking . Enjoy your new tractor .

I guess it all depends on how heavy the trailer is, I'd try it and you can put a gooseneck hitch in your truck they make a clean set up without having to butcher your truck.

No big deal it's only a Chevy haha, I think most all of us have done things similar your just a bigger man than most for admitting it .

Sounds like your on the right track I'd jack it back to plumb and leave the strap on there till the soil has had a chance to dry out . Good luck.
