I mowed the hillsides next to my Safflower field , it makes the dove a lot easier to find come September. I also mowed a couple Ridge lines making it easier to drive the jeep over the hill checking cattle.

When ever buying a tractor I found it's always a good idea to buy a little bigger than you think you need. There's no such thing as to much power , just my opinion.

I haven't seen a land pride that looked that heavy to me , they may make one I just haven't seen one. Estate sales are another good place to find good deals on implements. Good luck .

Just my opinion but when buying a trailer go as big as possible you may buy a bigger tractor in the years to come . I have a Grand L3830 and we have a 10,000 lb trailer always better to have more trailer than you think you need to be safe.

Look on Craigslist for a used one I just picked up another 6' international disc in great shape it heavy duty and has blade cleaners to keep it from plugging up in wet soil. For no more than your going to be using it there's no problem buying used. I'd rather buy a heavy duty used one than a new...
