What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Drove a couple km down the road to get this new bracket made, info is in my grapple thread but I’m summary, I hard mounted the 3rd function lines on this home made bracket. Later today I will be working on the creek. Or as my wife has decided to call it the moat.

    HLA RRGLD48 root rake grapple

So I decided I didn’t like the hoses being loose at the loader end of the 3rd function. What was happening is the hoses for the grapple would fall down and get pinched at the bottom of the curl cylinder. Talked to the dealer and they gave me the 90’s and the pioneer couplers for the lines at the...

    Idling vs shutdown and restart

I never even contemplated this before. I shutdown to hook up the PTO, shut down to listen to the wife, and shutdown when I make a coffee. Other then that i never really thought of a time to idle except in the winter I let it run to operating temp on the gauge no matter what I’m doing before I...

L2501 - Hydraulic powered skid steer quick attach

That’s awesome!! I wonder if it would be easy enough to just use a diverter for that function? Since you wouldn’t have to worry about using curl at the same time.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I’m lucky I can do pretty much whatever I want to my property. There was already a crappy ditch there. I’m just gonna make it look nicer and deeper so the fish can swim part way up it.

    BX Dashboard...

My 23s has been outside a few times and I have washed it quite a few times. Most tractors likely at a minimum get rained on. I just wouldn’t use the high pressure nozzles on a pressure washer, I use the 45 on mine.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Wife: I’d like you to dig up the edge of the pond and clean out the ditch, the. Build a walking bridge so we can feed the fish from it. me: say no more....

    Torque Wrench Necessary?

Make sure you alway slack your torque wrench off to relieve the pressure, they will hold their accuracy longer.

    Torque Wrench Necessary?

1/2” drive Canadian tire one goes to 250ft lbs. 3/8” drive goes to 250in lbs

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Well I figure it wasn’t considered pulled until it was out of the hole. That stump is more than this loader is related to lift. RV antifreeze filled tires and the backhoe on, I was able to lift enough weight off the ground to drag it out. Again the little BX23S impresses me yet again.

    Torque Wrench Necessary?

A torque wrench is a valuable tool, keep an eye on the Canadian tire sales and you can pick one up cheap enough. Under torque and stuff can come loose, over torque and bolts break. There are items on your machine that need to have the torque checked at regular intervals.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Productive day today! Got a big tree stump dug out. It’s too heaving to pick up with my 23s, but at least it’s free from its roots. Dug a pit in the backyard and filled it with Old concrete then used the extra dirt to start building up some of the yard by my fire pit. Planning on at least 40-60...

Why do you use a toothbar?

holy crap. I got a deal on some steel last summer, a friend of mine who does metal work said the price is getting crazy. However he is still busy building things. He does sculptures and custom metal fab work. I should just grab a chunk of flat Stock and use the scrap metal bin to make teeth. I...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

thats amazing hahaha. It’s funny how you can see exactly when I dug the orange shovel in to pull. What would be awesome would be if the diff lock could be engaged while kneeling on the seat facing backwards and pressing the hst peddle. No marks on the front from the bucket cause I had the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Got it stuck. Sorry only a picture of after, cause I wasn’t going to get off the seat unless necessary . The hoe pulled me out no problem. I was hoping three nights of below zero would stop the frost, we have had way too quick of a thaw this year.
