    MIG welding question. (CO2 canister)

Joe I have three auto shade welding helmets here at the shop. They all have there place and all have been great to use. One thing I have found with some of the older ones is that condensation can cause them to flick in and out once in awhile. My shop is full of florescent lights but I personally...

    Kubota's for Work or Play?

I know what your saying and it's basically the same around here. Our home is located in a mixed zoning. It's part commerical and residential. Before I could operate a business here I had to apply for a permit and considering I had a reputation as a clean freak I had no problem getting the...

Eric our main shop is right behind our home. It consists of a two bar garage with all the modern tools we need to operate the business. Each bay has it's own above ground two post hoist. Each door is automatic and will open with the touch of a button. One of the bays has it own heavy duty...

    Kubota's for Work or Play?

The thread is sure doing well on here. Feels good don't it. When I'm restoring motorcycles for our collection I'll always start a thread over on the honda305.com site and when I did my "65 Honda Dream I never ever thought it would get up to just about 61,000 hits and a 171 replies and still...

    Sand Blasting B8200E

Yes in this case it was a mess because I couldn't move the forklift from the area. The wheels were off. No electrical on the machine and no hydraulics. It did however work out to my advantage because I was able to recover the sand because it was easy to sweep up from the pavement and reuse it...

    Sand Blasting B8200E

Thanks Rust. When it comes to safety how someone can compromise with ones health is beyond me so the right tools for the right job is critical. For my first coat on the forklift I use epoxy primer then followed by a high build primer then paint. With the bike restorations I just use a good...

    Sand Blasting B8200E

I've done plenty of sandblasting over the years due to my restoration and repair work. I've also designed my own blasters and one of them was featured in the Welding,Design and Fabrication magazine out of Cleveland. I will tell you that the number one thing to consider here is safety. Make sure...

All the snow is cleaned up now and look what I see

I've been closer to them than in that image. I've been that close to them as they walked down the side of the road I could roll down my window and touch them. I've also looked out my window and seen two or three of them on my lawn. I've seen them hit on the road and have there hind ends broken...

    Kubota's for Work or Play?

I don't know Scott if you should use it. Look at what happened when I tried it on my GoldWing. The small one is the actual size one. When I mixed up the stuff I had a bad batch and now the biggest GoldWing is parked at a local airplane hanger at the local airport  Get it wrong with your...

Well she had a choice. She could either operate the tractor ( in the back of my mind I was saying "please dear God don't let her say yes to that") or get in the bucket and she chose the bucket. I was OK with that :D I did tell her not to get any footy prints inside my bucket

    Kubota's for Work or Play?

boys I'll have to let you all in on a little secret of mine. If you want to have your tractors stand out a little bit you'll have to mix up a additive that I use and dump in the fuel tank. I just poured some in my little scooter but I think I added to much
