    New BX25-D Mod

Here you go folks. Just completed another mod for the BX. Not sure if this has been done to the "D" before with the thumb. We'll call this one the "Kwik-Com" :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2503f4jykI&feature=c4-overview&list=UUfLqRBaI3DGI6ocVUaN8r7Q

    New product.

Cool. I got the video all done and edited but we had a power failure and it took out our internet so the computer geek will be here in the AM and I'll just do the upload when we get back up. I'm on 3G right now. This mod was one of the toughest ones I've done on the BX but well worth the...

Well that makes two of us thinking about the same question. I was wondering how good the hold would be on the paint but I decided to go to the bare metal to do it right. No doubt about it, JB weld is fantastic stuff. Sounds like you did a great job on that cooler. I just finished a new...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Good lord no. A cab would be the absolute worst thing I could add to the BX. The only reason your seeing the BX at all is because we are off for the holidays and I've been doing some mods on it in the main shop and using it just because it was there. In another few days it will go back to its...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Now Ron, really, is that possible? :D Paul Well it do have a home in a sense. It sleeps over on back of the motorcycle lift but I had so much to do these last few weeks poor ol' Forky had to sleep outside and then the snow came and boy did it come  On the bright side. The BX helped me...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Well with all the snow and ice we have I decided to put the forklift back in the shop. Wasn't so easy with one wheel frozen but the BX was a Hugh help in getting it the shop under the furnace.

    New product.

I see it's still in stores. I've used it in the past for a temporary repair such as a float bowl in a carburetor but that was about it. I'm sure it had many more uses.

So true what you say about the epoxies. Oh I would have liked nothing better than drilling out the ROPS and hiding those wires but there's some things in life that's out of bounds and tampering with the ROPS is one of them. I don't think I could ever be comfortable selling a machine with the...

    The snow keeps on coming.

Heck I got to keep her. To expensive getting rid of her now after 32 years ;) Hey no blower on the BX. Just a bucket. Oh don't worry. I won't be on it very long when I'll be crawling back into the Grand L :D

Thank you Steve. Glad you enjoyed the video. Hey. If it's worth doing then its worth doing well and I bet you think along those lines. I won't endorse a product until I try it first and I that I am confident that it does what it's supposed to do. This product was sent to me by a person I...

    The snow keeps on coming.

Hey Steve. Thank you very much. This year was the first time in three years we put up lights outside for Christmas. The last few years our military sons have been off Canadian soil so we never had the heart to put them up. The locals love seeing the lights so this year our boys are on Canadian...

Oh we've had more in less time than one night  Skeets my friend. It's no point in getting older unless you get smarter so here's how I did it. I said " Honey, my friend Skeets would love to see the 5740 plowing snow, I really don't want to do another video but Skeets would be really...

When I worked for GM they had the Pontiac Transport van back then and all their bodies were a plastic like composite material and we would use a special glue/sealer to replace the panels. After it set you couldn't tear it apart. Good stuff. Glad you liked the video ;)

Good lord man you really got something started with this snow. Turn it off, QUICK! We had another pile last night.;) Geez David. I hate hearing about folks loosing their power this time of the year. Awful stuff to have happen. Ice is the absolute worst. Look what Toronto is going through...

    Advice on a tractor

Absolutely correct my friend. I really like the 5740.I could have sold it a few weeks ago. Wouldn't have lost a penny on it but when I looked at the alternative which would be a new 6060 I just couldn't do it. There were a few things I didn't like about the 6060 like the new emissions, I also...

    L5740 filter question?

I'm not in my office right now but I have the equivelant NAPA numbers for all the filters on the 5740. When I did my 50 hour service I changed the motor oil and filter, all other filters, greased, checked clutch adjustment and belt adjustment. Never changed hydraulic oil, checked front def oil...
