no sliding it just push it down, if you look carefully its a ball bearing it moves on and mine had gone a little rusty and stiff so soak it in oil for a while

the little lever under the one with the red knob is the 4x4 lever its about 2 inch long and a bit awkward to move, I soaked mine in WD40 oil and put a socket bar on it and gently moved it up and down to free it but you may have to rock the tractor back and forth to help engage it. down is 4x4 up...

Hi NIW Thanks for getting back to me.header tank is the plastic bottle that feeds or overflows back into from the radiator..not sure what you call the bottle in the USA, I would have thought if the head gasket had gone it would have pushed the water out of the rad back into this bottle...there...

I Have a similar problem I did put a posting on here but no one ever replies :mad: mine blows the water out of the over flow pipe from the header tank when hot but it does not empty out the radiator....strange

the header tank always empties out during use but the rad is always full of coolant whether the engine is hot or cold could this be head gasket? its fitted with a dynamo/siphon system not a waterpump/alternator. cant tell if it overheats as no temp guage....stupid Kubota not fitting one ...

Hi OTT I have a B1502 with a dynamo not alternator and the ingnition (battery) light never comes on when you turn on the ignition however i did find that there was no bulb fitted in it so i popped one in and still no light. Any ideas on the problem.

I have a clicking noise coming from one side of the axle,wheels are all tight etc,Is it easy to remove either side of the axle as I think it could be a tooth broken of a cog or does some one have a diagram for the removal.
