I guess this is OFF TOPIC? But I found myself another project...... And it is ORANGE...... A Montgomery Wards Garden Mark 5hp Riding Mower 19 60/70 Something (I think), more research required. Apparently made by Yard Man before being bought by Monkey Wards and then MTD...

In need of wiring harness! L245DT

If the dealer cannot get it and Colemans or Messicks does not have in stock, I would check West Kentucky Tractor Parts, 6375 Joppa Landing Road • Kevil, Kentucky 42053 • 800-564-0567 http://wkytpstore.com/

Taking what I call a stump jumper off a brush hog

What Russell said  That is what I did, I should have mentioned that :p Also a hell of a lot easier to work on upright. And once it is off, and going back on, slather the hell out of that spline with anti-seize. :D You will NOT regret it. :D Good question? my guess is general...

Taking what I call a stump jumper off a brush hog

This is what I used.... My pan came off and the bar was all I had to contend with, and it was a bear, but eventually got it. This was a Bush Hog brand

    post holer stand

Here is mine, Started with two small (2' X 2') Overhead Transformer pallets that I got from the local utility. I do not have drawn plans. The photos are pretty self explanatory I think, everything was "glued and screwed" using Gorilla Glue..... Hope this helps, I am sure there will be...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

To give a better idea of what I am up against (for what the County guy called a 25 year flood). The guy down the way with the Alpaca Ranch who has been here since the 60's remembers when this place was put in, in the 90's. Basically he said they brought in a D9 and "CUT" the hill side and...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Well I'm only expecting two things  1. Mother nature to cooperate 2. Some people to contact me, once they're done fixing everyone else's driveway, to build this thing the way it should have been done in the first place. ( remove a couple feet of decomposed granite and and put in real...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finished the driveway, AGAIN...... Still needs some touch-up, but the oil light started flickering, even though the gauge shows good pressure? Flickering at higher RPMs, which seems odd. A bit worried. Will do oil change tomorrow, probably due. Do not have a functioning hour meter, but...

    Love your L1500DT! (Question too)

Yes it's doable with the rear wheel on, but that's a big old hunk of steel and rubber to have to work around, and while getting that big old hunk of steel and rubber on and off isn't Fun, sometimes it makes the job easier.:D

    Love your L1500DT! (Question too)

It is there, and a pain to get at, because of the 4WD selector, I would remove the left rear wheel and then the linkage (in yellow) needs to be removed also, then you can get at the cover plate (in red) to remove the filter. Hope this helps, let us know if you have any other questions.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finally got around to installing a SMV (slow moving vehicle) placard on the back of of the L1500, since there were mounts on the seat. After ordering what I thought was a "real" decal from E-Bay, I got this......... A bunch of taped together pieces of vinyl decal material. So I made it a...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

With the top two feet being DG (decomposed granite) and if you get two plus inches of rain in less than an hour even with stone and geotextile fabric it's all going to end up down in the street. The ideal fix is to get rid of all that 2 feet of granite and put an nice road base down compacted to...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

That would possibly work for the ditch but when the water runs down the driveway your about screwed because you can get no compaction. What I'm really in need of is about 2 feet of DG, (decomposed granite) disappearing, and a nice layer of road base put down. It's pretty solid 2 feet down...

    Got the l1500 running today!

Well I got to tell you, I was holding my breath and hoping but to be honest with you I didn't have a lot of hope for JB Weld to hold something like that. It's good for some things but anything that gets torque on it not so much. Sorry about that. Glad you got that leak fixed.
