    Snowblower rotation... Help

I just installed my new BX5455hd snowblower and when I tried the hydraulic operated chute it was slow and stopped turning in one direction. I adjusted the “flow” on the 2 adjusters on the bottom of the motor…the adjustments were backed out a good deal…after turning the adjusters back in and...

Using paper bags in BX bagger

Hmmm…I wouldn’t consider mother nature’s falling leaves “litter”…once in the woods they would break down and become part of the woods…do you have tattletale neighbors? 😂 I would dump those leaves in the county woods and spread them out to look “natural”😇

Using paper bags in BX bagger

Transfer the bagged leaves to the paper bags? You can rig up something that will hold the bags open for filling? You don’t have an area of woods to just “dump” the leaves as you fill the bagger? Outside of these things, perhaps pay to have a professional take your leaves away with a leaf...

    SHORT SHAFTED!

Well the drama is over…the hitch and PTO kit are back in my garage…. NOW I can relax and wait for snow! 😄

    SHORT SHAFTED!

So…the “dilemma” is solved. This is after I drove myself to a sister dealer (1.5 hours) that had the “correct” mid PTO kits for my BX25d (as my local dealer had none. I spoke with the service mgr at the sister store and he knew what was going on as explained to him by my salesman over the phone...

    Valve core size

I was putting my chains on this week and aired down my rears to install them. When I aired back up I detected a slight stream of air coming out of the stem after I put the core back in. It seemed to stop when I put the cap on and I checked my tire next day and it held air. Im thinking a new...

    SHORT SHAFTED!

Funny thing though…on the BX2753 “assembled view” on page 14 the rear bearing is flipped but on the “parts”diagram for it on page 27, it shows the bearings oriented the same (bolts/flanges facing frontward) 🧐 Curious…

    SHORT SHAFTED!

Okay, I see that the rearmost bearing is flipped 180° so that the bolts face rearward while the forward-most bearing stays the same as the short shaft version. Doesn’t look like a big problem at all. Thanks for all your help my friend!

    SHORT SHAFTED!

I will take another look…good to be armed with all the info when I go to the dealer…lol on the “long shaft orientation” 😂

    SHORT SHAFTED!

Here’s the cover of the manual (printed from an email the sales guy sent me)

    SHORT SHAFTED!

The manual: It’s a BX2751 hitch with BX2752 and BX2753 mid PTO kit…they gave me the BX2752 with the shorter shaft, I’m sure. Hopefully they keep the one I bring back and give me a new (correct) one. You say the shafts cannot just be swapped because of the bearings? Thank you for your interest...

    SHORT SHAFTED!

Just took the subframe off and put it in my truck along with the “drive” shaft. Thankfully my dealer is 20 minutes away so the wife and I will pay them a visit then go out for breakfast!😄I will update what the outcome is…

    SHORT SHAFTED!

Hmmm…makes the “cheese” more binding…I’ll be at the salesman’s desk at 7:30 am. Hopefully they have a solution.

    SHORT SHAFTED!

You’re correct. I found subframe/quick hitch manual and they show the “driveline” as the same part but they show 2 kits one with an 11.5” output shaft and one with a 14 7/8” 🤨

    SHORT SHAFTED!

Well, I guess I’ll find out tomorrow. Thanks.

    SHORT SHAFTED!

Apparently dealer gave the wrong mid pto shaft when delivering my new BX5455HD snowblower. Installed it yesterday while prepping the BX25D for winter and the shaft is SHORT BY 2" when hooked up to the mid pto output shaft. Hopefully it's just a "bring the shaft back and get the right one"...

New “take off” BX front tire/wheel

Got my Messicks take off BX tire/wheel…very fast shipping! Brand new and a Perfect match for my other new one from my dealer. Installed the screw in studs today, took off my 60” deck and stored it, and changed my oil. Tomorrow I’ll put my sand/salt barrels out and fill them up. Then I can...

New “take off” BX front tire/wheel

Strangely enough, we have a Pittsburg NH. It’s the northernmost town in NH bordering Quebec. I don’t think I’ll be traveling to your state for tires! Throw them on Craigslist…someone will need them!

New “take off” BX front tire/wheel

Literally half price than the dealer wanted. And the trouble with the dealer was no one seemed to know what size dang wheel my BX25d took! A sorry situation for sure! Where do you live? Might take some tires/wheels off your hands if local.,,,
