Rusty hydraulic lines - what to do?

I've got a gallon+ of that stuff. It converts the rust into a primer, but it's not a stand-alone product. Are you recommending painting the pressure lines?

Rusty hydraulic lines - what to do?

I'm working to restore a pretty weathered L275DT. The images below are of the hydraulic lines, which are pretty rusty. One guy I know who knows a few things said that rust like that could wind up contaminating the fluid. I'm skeptical about that unless the rust gets so bad it works its way...

L275 - 1st fuel filter change, no spring under old filter

Fortunately, it seems to run fine and isn't smoking.

L275 - 1st fuel filter change, no spring under old filter

I use Seafoam periodically and agree it's good stuff, but with a case like this with a bad filter seal, it seems like something more may be in order.

L275 - 1st fuel filter change, no spring under old filter

I'm doing my 1st fuel filter change on my recently acquired L275. When I pulled off the filter pot, there was no spring under the filter. I'm fairly certain that without that spring, there is no good seal on the upper oring. The tractor runs fine now, but the pot was pretty gunked up, so I'd...

New to me L275 - starts/runs fine, but no dash lights

That's exactly what I'm hoping to do. I just need to know what to ask for when I go to the counter. I'd get some dimensions for the bulb socket if I could get my caliper in there, but it's pretty tight behind the dash.

New to me L275 - starts/runs fine, but no dash lights

I finally got back around to the electrical issues on this tractor. I found that the dash light bulbs are missing altogether. I do have the parts manual and see that the bulbs for charging and oil pressure have different part numbers (32150-31740 & 34150-34620) although the sockets for both...

L275 rusted out battery support bracket

It's item #6, battery support, that I need. Worse comes to worst, I can just clean up what's left of it and weld on what I need to make it work. The bracket going up to hold the air cleaner is half shot as well. This is the only area with rust to this extent. Battery electrolyte must have...

L275 rusted out battery support bracket

I need to replace the battery bracket on my L275. It's rusted well beyond repair. I'd imagine that it is a common part among many different models. I did an ebay search for L275 battery bracket, but nothing came up. A quick look on Messicks didn't return anything either. Any...

New to me L275 - starts/runs fine, but no dash lights

Well, after looking further into it, I'm not surprised that the dash lights don't work - the wiring is a mess. I'm not sure what all is affected, but the wiring to the glow plugs seems to be working. I checked the voltage at the battery both with the engine off and on, and the voltage reads...

New to me L275 - starts/runs fine, but no dash lights

I have not checked anything yet. I will begin tonight.

New to me L275 - starts/runs fine, but no dash lights

I'll check that 1st. Thanks for the response. I'll also have to either find or make a cover for that box.

New to me L275 - starts/runs fine, but no dash lights

I just picked up my 1st Kubota, a L275 w/ a FEL & 1400 hrs on the meter. It is sound mechanically AFAIK, starting up and running fine, but I noticed that I have no dash lights when I turn the key to the on position. I have not had a chance to look into it yet, but will this evening. I have...
