3 Point works but not with a load

Sure. All you need for this test is a $15 3000 PSI gauge and an adapter fitting. If you want a real kit here is one. Probably Harbor Freight quality but I would buy it expecting it to do its job for decades. https://a.co/d/8q3HjbW It comes with 3 BSPP test points but nothing NPT so you would...

Which Pioneer fitting for L4150 rear hydraulics

Thats right AND the sleeve extends rather than retracts when connecting. I suspect the housings are specific to those OEM supplied couplers and generic couplers will not fit. I know Kubota wants mucho dinero for replacement couplers. Last I looked sbout $125 each so treat them with TLC. Dan

Which Pioneer fitting for L4150 rear hydraulics

You are not as clueless as you make out 😃 Those are "one hand operation" two way sleeve couplers mounted in breakaway brackets. You simply push the tips in to connect and pull out to disconnect. I think the females could benefit from a couple blasts of shop air and a good squirt or two of...

Which Pioneer fitting for L4150 rear hydraulics

Do you want male tips for hoses to fit those couplers? If so they are "standard" 1/2" ISO 5675 AG tips found in any tractor supply. Ball or poppet makes no differrence. Dan

3 Point works but not with a load

I do kno Here is the hydraulic plumbing on your BF900 loader. I have labeled the quick connect that supplies hydraulic pressure to the 3pt. You can quickly and easily check pressure at that point BEFORE you take anything apart Simply unscrew the hose #10 from the male tip #20 and screw a 3000+...

3 Point works but not with a load

Lift pistons dont typically go south over night. Before you get carried away tearing things apart CHECK THE 3pt SUPPLY PRESSURE. The loader works because it is the first device in the hydraulic circuit. The OUT side of the loader valve supplies pressure to the 3pt and if that connection is...

3 Point works but not with a load

BF900 is the model number of the loader. Tractor model number is usually on the side of the hood. Its also on a data plate usually attached to the trsnsmission. The BF900 loader has quick connects on the 3 hoses that connect the valve to the tractor. I suggest you check the one on the power...

3 Point works but not with a load

BF900??? I suspect that is the model of the liader not the trsctor. In any event it sounds like this just started out of the blue and the loader valve is not supplying full pressure to the 3pt. Check any quick connects and pressure at the power beyond port on the loader valve. Dan

M Series 3 Point Drifts Down

Good thinking - I forgot about the lowering speed valve. CORROLLARY If it drops with the engine off and valve closed it is likely the cylinder seal. Dan

M Series 3 Point Drifts Down

Dont know the answer. Ideally you would like to watch from below for signs of oil leaking from the top. Ufortunately Kubota doesnt provide any inspection covers.... Dan

Kubota L35 rear end gear discontinued part 32751-15122

Very nice. Cutting those compound gears can be a little tricky and expensive to make. Lots of material removal just to make the blank and typically not enough clearance to hob the teeth so they have to be shaped. I have also worked on one application where the teeth have to be clocked exactly...

Kubota Super UDT2 Trans-Hydraulic Fluid Shelf Life & How to remove one of the drain plugs

A sealed bucket should be fine even outdoors. The two properties that make SUDT2 "special" are its lower viscosity/very high viscosity index and ability to tolerate high humidity. Dan

NEW WG24 Stump Grinder - Initial impressions!

You dont need or want diamond to sharben brazed carbide tooling. An ordinary silicon carbide (green) wheel on a bench grinder is typical. The trick to sharpening tooling is getting the edge geometry correct. The teeth on the WG24 are pretty simple and should be straight forward. Dan
