Bulldog, thanks for the heads up. They do come straight down to the sides. I'll keep an eye on them. Is there an adapter to change the attitude of the outriggers or any other "fix" that you know of?

    B1550HST price check

With all of those implements it sounds like a good choice for a rebuild. If you can talk him down please do, but I don't think I'd worry too much about that price. Check here for 2WD 1550s closed auction sales...

The tractor is in Northwestern Vermont at the present time and it's pretty flat up there. Wiskey5th why would you trade off that little sweetheart? That B6200 is a great looking machine. If I bought a new seat my tractor would look almost as new as that one does. I'm sure you have...

    2 "new guy" questions

Welcome to OTT tcbro. You're right about the rear of the mower being connected to the 3 Point Hitch, and the ones I've seen are usually on a pivot in the front that either allows it to swing down or tilt. I suggest you get the owner's manual for more information about the flow rates, but you...

    Loader

I can't believe this has been unanswered for this long. You would need a B219 or a B1630 Kubota loader for your B6100. I'm sure any dealer can tell you what size and model Woods loader will substitute if you can't find an original Kubota.

Yes, it is. I don't think there's a tractor color I don't like except Chinese Red. I just want...

Yes, it is. I don't think there's a tractor color I don't like except Chinese Red. I just want something big enough to roll over my trees and then take care of house. :) LOL Actually, I'd like to have a little red International Cub like the one my father had, to ride in parades, or just play with.

    Opinions wanted please

I wouldn't have wanted to be that reporter at the end either. He was right under that excavator when he was making the last move. I noticed all of the safety features of that climb though, and it was well engineered. What a blast!

    Going Implement CrAZy

Well, when it comes down to the final bell I have spent more than I had budgeted for everything just on the loader and backhoe combined. With a little care this mature little tractor may just live a very long and productive life. I guess that's what we ask of any of our machines. The best pass...

Have you noticed how tractors just keep getting larger and LARGER ??

What's wrong with larger?? Especially when it comes to tractors. If I could pack 75 HP into a small frame I'd rather have that for my small property, but someday I might have a really big 5 or 6 acre place. :D and how will I ever get 150-300 HP in a compact package?? I think they need to stop...

    Opinions wanted please

I've got to agree with Bulldog on the Chinese stuff. You get what you pay for and less. I have a Woods backhoe that I haven't had the chance to try out yet, but it will be frame mounted. I have a BH6500 that I bought used and still haven't "saved" that mythical dollar yet. See my post about my...

    Hello everyone!

Hello, and welcome. Your best bet is to buy a weight box. That is, after getting your tires weighted. You don't really say why you need the counterweight, do you have a FEL on your new tractor?

Finally I have new pictures to share. My tractor should be home by the end of this week with any luck. It's been a long road to get here and I had to buy a 7 x 16 trailer to get it where it needed to go, but the loader is on and the tires will be weighted and the backhoe mounted this week. Now...

    backhoe--B7800-what to buy?

I bought a used Woods BH6500 that came off of a B7800 and I'm having it put on a B8200 so the subframe will be available. :) Yeah, I'd look for a used Woods. You'll probably end up paying 3/4 of the new price, but at least you'll save that much if the subframe works with your tractor. Otherwise...

    Snow project

 Now, where are the people who invented things like that today? Instead they give us "All weather tires". Is it too much to ask to see some real imagination in designs today? I suppose they couldn't find investors because the auto and tractor industries couldn't get ahold of a part of the...

Nice brochure. Did you get it on ebay? It would be nice to start a full collection of those here for the sake of identification and a handy reference.

    front end loader for 7200hst

Ok, I'll share my real time price from a dealer in my area on a Woods LS84 loader with 54" bucket and install of all necessary parts purchased on "Tax Free" day here in Vermont. $4129.00 going on a B8200D. The ROPS and Woods Sub-frame unit (Prices extra) for my BH6500 Backhoe will be installed...

Stuff to drag around behind my little tractor

It has always grated on me that other people set the price of equipment, cars, and other toys through "book" prices. Then nobody bothers to read the fine print. The books are "JUST A GUIDE" to the actual value and then they tell you to adjust the price according to condition, age, and features...

dusty-t, Have you seen one like this? http://albany.craigslist.org/grd/1642057548.html There are also some others listed on Craig's List, and I'm pretty sure I've seen a Kubota or two as well at fair prices.
