The fork grapple was purchased from Mid State attachments in Denton NC Twin cylinder fork grapple They no longer have my single cylinder model available. The forks on mine got bent so I had them reinforced. They now resemble snow machine skis.

I wasn’t aware of this manufacturer. The spec sheet shows the 55” is lighter than the Homestead and a ships within days claim. I bought the Homestead, but I’m still waiting for delivery. They did immediately charge my card for the grapple if that’s an issue for folks.

When I visited ea last summer the yard was loaded with attachments. If they don’t sort out their debts there will be an auction.

Mt Airy equipment quoted me $3500 for a grapple when I bought my tractor. I assume it was for a LP grapple, but way more than I was willing to add to the tractor price. I saw the stacks of grapple crates as I drove around their lot.

Jeremy P from sales has yet to respond to my email. Ted has not responded to my voicemails, but maybe he’s busy working his way through them.

Less than 24hrs from placing the order and I got an update that my grapple will be shipping in 4-6 weeks. Cost less and delivered in under 2 months. I was worried they might already be swamped in ea overflow.

I had to to provide my cc # to place order, so when I get my bill I’ll know if they charged it immediately.

What started out as an attempted ea 55 purchase has ended with an order placed for the Homestead pinnacle 55 and money saved. Thanks for everyone’s input and hopefully I’ll be reviewing my new grapple in 8 weeks, or less.
