    Post hole auger thinger

Honestly, this is the same as a skid steer auger with less engineering and more "hold my beer" involved. It's a little sketchy, but I can see how this would work a treat with a little more refinement. I love the ingenuity.

    Kubota b7100 HST, 4WD, 1985, DP

Hello fellow B7100HST owner! Good choice for a tractor - although it may be a challenge operating without power steering! With regard to your questions: I do not operate where it snows, but running in 4WD probably is a must for your conditions. Be aware that if the chains you add cause the...

To those looking for 20.5x8-10 tires

My B7100HST-D has the 20" Predators and they're just fine. I have not experienced any ill effects running in 4WD, but I run exclusively on turf. They have a nice bit of bite but I have not had any problems with tearing turf unless I absolutely bog into a pile while using the loader.

B7100D hydraulics and adding a FEL

Get a diverter block cover from @TheOldHokie or @torch. That is the right way to do it. I added a loader to my B7100HST and routed the fluid from the block (forward/right hand port) up to my loader valve (with internal relief) out of the power beyond port and back to the block (rear/left hand...

B7100D hydraulics and adding a FEL

Mine are replacements - the originals were so badly pitted that they could not be saved.

    WTB backhoe for B7100

I've seen exactly three backhoes for a B7100 pop up in Texas (which is not where you are) over the last two years. One was rotten and laying in a grassy yard in Port Aransas. Tractor and mounting equipment long gone. One was on a very, very clapped B7100D that looked to need a full rebuild...

B7100D hydraulics and adding a FEL

Like @TheOldHokie my B7100HST-D has a B1630 loader and runs off the stock hydraulic pump. It uses some 2" cylinders for all the lift and curl functions and is perfectly fine, just a little slower. You will need a hydraulic "block" that permits you to add the loader into the rear implement...

To those looking for 20.5x8-10 tires

Oh goodness, you have the Ag tire setup. Not the turf tires. The B7100 was sold in two tire configurations, with unique wheel rims for each configuration. 6-12 is the tire size you need for your fronts and you can get them from Amazon.

To those looking for 20.5x8-10 tires

They will, and they seem to be fine on my B7100HST-D

Well if that's the case, I don't want them! Don't need machines with no records! 🙃

I was worried I was expecting way to much out of such a small tractor.

It might be a 2WD "E" model? Hard to tell because the four lug front wheels look like golf cart wheels to me. If it is a 4WD "D" model then the ratio is definitely off just looking at the tires. You can't find R14t tires that fit the B7100 4WD models with the stock wheels. I've run the math...

How NOT to do a hydraulic oil change...

A good reason why spraying "used oil" on roads can be fraught with unknown issues. A little bad juju in the waste oil can lead to a lot of problems.

How NOT to do a hydraulic oil change...

I knew this was Texas before I even finished reading. There's so much bad practice going on with leases bringing good money from hunting "bros" that really should stick to hunting big game at the local beer joint.

    B7100 hydraulic toplink

Forum supporter Summit Hydraulics offers a diverter valve to control a cylinder circuit as well. Would be handy for something like the hydraulic links done by the FitRite gentleman. https://summit-hydraulics.com/product/hydraulic-solenoid-selectordiverter-valve-13-gpm-12v-dc/

Let's talk B7100 hydraulic lift controls

I've seen what is "market" for the B7100/6100 lift control valve, housing, and all. PM me a quote on the whole lift job (arms, housing, cylinder, and valve) and I'll see if my budget can bear it. Edit: Thanks @Mountainman - very fair for what I'd need.

Let's talk B7100 hydraulic lift controls

The original valve handles the input, control, and relief functions the same as this replacement unit. The original hydraulic supply from the pump is mangled - it was hacked apart to supply fluid to the now removed creeper transmission and trencher. My plan would be to transition to a new...
