can you get the tractor into any gear??? if so jack up one side and rock or shake the lifted side tire/wheel back and forth, worked for me years ago on an older tractor, or if you can move it at all might try pulling it with another tractor or truck???

^^^Paul is correct, don't think you could go wrong with either BUT :confused: the pluses i see for the 2301,2601, or even the 2650 is the mid-pto and the size, you will appreciate the smaller footprint of the B in the woods, but you would enjoy having the extra weight of the 2501 to an extent...

like some of the other posters, not sure i would want a Mag drill as my main option, they are extremely handy in certain situations, to the point of having to have one for some procedures, but in you case it appears necessity was the mother of invention and this unit will suit your needs and...

change fuel filter, during this time does it run ok w/o a load or w/o working it??? try climbing a pretty good grade, if it seems to be laying down on you i'd almost bet water/trash in filter

23 hp is plenty, get a properly sized grapple and go to town, only thing about the smaller tractors is time, my little BX2200 has been great unit, and I could not be w/o one, but there are times I wish it were a larger frame tractor, which is why I am in search of a larger B or a smaller 32-38...
