    Tractor shipping costs?

Perhaps using your shipping money to purchase a used trailer and move it yourself. When you are through with the trailer sell it too.

    Coon Problem

My go to coon trap is the hand trap, such as Duke's. I fill it with cat food. My barn cats leave the food in the traps alone as does my dog. I have trapped over 20 coons with it. Here in my county located in South Texas we have both coon and hog problems. The county ag extension office has...

    New Zero turn

Besides the Z242KW-48 gas mower I recently bought for my wife, I still have my ZD331 with a 60" deck. The diesel engine on the ZD331 has been issues free. I've had it about 10 years.

    New Zero turn

I have a Z2432KW-48, purchased earlier this year and I like it very much. It has a 21.5 HP Kawasaki on it.

MX4800 front axle support wont take the grease

I agree with "fried1765", a grease joint rejuvenator, several makers of them out there including Lock-N-Lube, might clear up your problem. You pull the plunger back and fill the tool with a light oil and attach it to the zerk then strike the end of the plunger with a hammer and it forces the...

Are the diesel rtvs really that slow?

I have an RTV900 with over 800 hours on it. It is slow but I only use it on my 40 acres, so its been great for what I need.

    Interesting tool. What is it?

When I was in high school my neighbor and I used these tools to catch bull frogs in a nearby reservoir for extra grade points for our Biology teacher, who used them in class for dissection. Most of the frogs captured by spring gigs were relatively unharmed.

    MX grab handle and crossbar

Very nice design and fabrication! I have been considering such a bar for my MX5100 and now you have given me a slightly different approach to consider. I suspect you probably have not noticed and vibration/movement. What would be your thoughts about gluing rubber gasket material on the plates...

Need help with grease fitting size on la 1154s loader

The LA844 FEL on my MX5100 has SAE threaded zerk fittings and the MX5100 has metric threaded zerk fittings. I asked my dealer about why that was and he said my FEL was manufactured here in the US. Unknown if that is true.

    Grease guns that don't leak?

I love the grease fittings and tools made by Lock-N-Lube. Their locking couplers work and come in two (2) lengths. They also make a similar tool for inflating tires, which lock on the Schrader valve stem. I posting here to point out they also make quality grease guns and accessories as well as...

    Concealed Carry Gun?

So many options today... My personal favorite four (4) 9mm pocket pistols are: Glock 43, Sig P365, Kahr PM9, and Springfield Hellcat Pro OSP with reflex sight. They all carry nicely with the exception of the Hellcat Pro, just too big for most of my pockets so it usually gets carried in a...

ZD323 - Question about Spindle Dust Covers

I too lost a set of spacers on my right side along with the clinch pin. Wired the new one shut to prevent brush from pulling them loose.

ZD323 - Question about Spindle Dust Covers

My dust cups usually only last 3 years. My mower is a ZD331 and my soil is very sandy, which should have something to do with shorten life. My cups fail from sand/debris hitting them and cutting through. Must also keep an eye on those cupped washers, they will also need replacing periodically...

Does Oregon make a Gator G5 mower blade for my new Kubota Zero Turn

You're right Mikester, they aren't the best cutting blades vs high lift but my soil is really sandy and the high lift blades are short lived here.

Does Oregon make a Gator G5 mower blade for my new Kubota Zero Turn

Addendum: I see that Oregon makes a G6 blade. The G6 blade that will fit my deck is Oregon #391-614 and it's thickness is 0.250" along with correct other dimensions. Cost more but I like the thickness for longevity. Will give these a try as well.

Does Oregon make a Gator G5 mower blade for my new Kubota Zero Turn

Jay: Thanks for your response, looks like the Oregon G5 #596-330 should work, thinner than my other G5's, 0.187" vs 0.250". Oregon and others are not cross referencing this blade to the Kubota Z242 or the deck RCK48P-200Z. Wonder if this is a new Kubota deck. Anyway, ordered a set and will...

Does Oregon make a Gator G5 mower blade for my new Kubota Zero Turn

Looking for new blades for my new Kubota Z242KW-48 zero turn. I currently use G5 blades on my Kubota ZD331 and like them so I'm interested in using the G5's on the new smaller mower. Kubota's parts diagram only showed a mulching blade (48-H28-TR #K5579-34350) if I'm reading it correctly. Mower...

Should I sharpen my brush hog blades?

My father in law always had his brush cutter blades sharpened by his local blacksmith shop. They would reshape them back to new looking without removing any metal. He had three pair and would take in two pair for sharpening at a time. I was amazed at the quality of the blacksmith's work. He told...

    ZD331

I too had problems with the brake safety switch on my ZD331 causing the same problem. A little hard for me to access the little switch to clean it, so I installed a simple toggle switch in a more convenient spot below the left lever arm in the plastic body. I epoxied the exterior of the toggle...
