    Are you ready for Winter?

I highly recommend a rear blade to go with the front mounted snowblower. It will be a snow moving machine.

    New LX 3310

Most of my hours were mowing and I would average about 2350. If I am tooling around doing whatever I will run at about 2000

    New LX 3310

I have 64 hours on my LX3310 and with the exception of the hydro whine I love it. It just did it’s fourth regen( every 16 hours so far, oh well) and they last 10-15 minutes. It does use a lot more fuel than the old 770 but I think I am running a lot more rpm trying to keep temps up to prevent...

    Are you ready for Winter?

Still cutting grass here in northern MI. I will probably mow one more time. The conversion will be new for me as I just bought the LX this spring. It is going to be surreal going out in the cold, blowing, and snowing evenings during a good ole snow event in my heated cab. I have been blowing a...

What do you do with the trails you maintain?

Same here as all of the above. Number one would be for my wife to take the dog for a walk thru the woods (55 acres). She snowshoes them in winter. The trails get me close to my firewood

    Tires

I had turfs on my JD 770 for 22 years and they were great until they were in the mud. They were excellent in the snow.

    Fallen Ash

It’s all good, I know things can change but a huge factor is having the time, which I do. I work three days a week so there are no excuses. Anything I cut now is for the winter of 22-23.

New Tractor Operator - Skill Building or Jump In Head First?

Just take you time and do everything slowly at first, speed will come with experience. When you screw up your mistake is much more amplified on a 4000 lb tractor vs a lawnmower. Enjoy!
