    New season, hummingbirds back

We've had our feeders out for at least a month and hadn’t seen much until this week. Last week we changed out the sugar water for fresh and they started showing up, not sure if that made a difference or not but they’re back. There’s a really cool documentary about hummingbirds, Netflix maybe?

    top link hook??

Sounds like the previous owner had a quick hitch on his tractor. Is the original hole for the top link still there on the blade? If so, can you cut off the hook and go back to the original set up?

    2022 vacations ?

I doubt the rooms came down due to Covid either. It’s not been much of a thing in Nashville for a while. Nothing like Illinois anyway. But if you can get a deal in Nashville you better take it. Quite expensive in the city. If you’ve never been to broadway you might as well experience it at least...

What do you ride, and whats the last thing you did to it?

Typically, I’m very patient but this kind of thing pisses me off. Having worked in sales, If myself or any of my guys promised something we couldn’t follow through on it was a big no no. good luck on your parts.

What do you ride, and whats the last thing you did to it?

I ordered a new rear shock from partzilla on 2-24-22. Their website said it was in stock and ships in 24hrs. Well it’s been delayed again, supposed to be in stock from their supplier on 3-9-22. From what I have gathered this is how a lot of these sites work. They don’t have it sitting in their...

What do you ride, and whats the last thing you did to it?

a well it looks like there’s a number of FJR riders on here, including myself. I removed the rear shock last night, as I have one on the way from partzilla. I need to replace the fork seals again. Had a local shop replace them last winter and I have one leaking. I’m also about to replace the...

Not our problem. They’re not a member of NATO and I’m tired of us being the world police.

    Forum Names and Avatars?

No avatar but Benhameen is Benjamin in Spanish. At least that’s how my buddies house keeper said it when we were growing up. He still calls me Benhameen but it’s all I could think of when i first got online and didn’t want to use my real name. I use the same name no matter which forum im on. A...

    Trailering tie down question.

Appreciate the replies. I’m guesstimating the weight with my heaviest rear implement around 5,300lbs. This is an over estimate, I rounded up on each item just to be safe.

    Trailering tie down question.

Thanks guys. The video and your post certainly answer my questions. I’ll be changing up the way I tie down to the trailer. Once I get around to it I’ll post pics. Already bought additional chain and ratchet style binders at the farm store today.

    Trailering tie down question.

I’m sure this has been discussed but it im not finding exactly what I’m looking for. As I sit her with a couple broken toes bored as, you know what and having recently purchased a new trailer to haul my L3800 a couple questions have come to mind. So from what I’ve gathered two tie downs are...

    Winter wear/ Insulated gear

Lots of good advise here, I’m a big fan of base layers and/or laying in general. Best work very well for me in this regard, keeps the core temp up. I use smart wool products. Kinda pricey but so far everything I’ve purchased has been very good quality. One thing that might not have been...

    Tractor cleaning?

This is basically what I do. Wash a couple times a year, spray wax once a year, leaf blower to blow the loose crap off and or just the water hose for the slightly more stubborn stuff. Having it waxed really helps the debris slide right off. Actually, as I think about it I probably wax my hood...

Cell phone mount for open station tractor

I use my phone all the time on my tractor, music or podcast but I like to keep it in my pocket. Just a personal preference. I’m sure there’s plenty of nice mounts out there. i was looking to mount one on my motorcycle and came across an article on phone cameras being damaged due to the...

    Greased the FEL today...

I added the lock and lube to my Milwaukee as well. Greased everything just before our latest cold snap in about 30 minutes. I actually hate grease but understand the importance. I can’t seem to not get it on my glasses.

    Small Business Start-up.

Lots of good advise here but keep in mind that the OP started this thread in 2018 and hasn’t made anymore post. He must have taken the advise and bought a skid steer.
