    What to spray field with?

Thank you for all the replies! There are a few different weeds that I am specifically targeting but I think the 2-4-D will work. The position I am in is I just bought this house this year and the previous owner didn’t do anything the whole time he lived here so the property was pretty overgrown...

    What to spray field with?

I have 5 acres about 4.5 are just empty field. I need to spray to kill noxious weeds that are taking over. I don’t want to kill whatever grass is growing. What do I use? I tried reading up on the online and there is way too much information to figure out what’s going to work. Any help or advice...

    L2501 price

I was think that same thing about the front spacers. I’ve never heard anything good come from front spacers.

    L2501 price

Seems high to me. I paid $25k out the door for mine with 0% interest. That included fluid filled R4s, loader, rear blade, rotary cutter and pallet forks. It had .3 hrs on it when I got it delivered.

    Break in period

That was my thoughts as well. It seemed crazy that you should have to wait 50 hours to do any real work. If anything I would think to have the engine under load would help with break in

    Plagued by inventory

I feel pretty fortunate. Bought my house on land in December and quickly found out I needed a tractor. So, I bought my L2501 in January. Only had to wait for it to be assembled. The dealer also had the attachments I needed in stock at the time. It’s a much different story now.

    Break in period

I have a Ln L2501 I bought new and haven’t had a whole lot of time to use yet. The main purpose for the tractor for me is snow removal and brush hogging my field. 5 aces of rolling hills. My manual states “Do not operate at full speed for the first 50 hours.” Of course, I didn’t read this until...

    Using hand-accelerator-lever

Sounds to me like something is wrong. The throttle should stay where you leave it. There is a tensioner with a nut and lock nut under the dash that can be adjusted to fix this. There are several videos on YouTube showing the fix. Should just take a few minutes.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I cut out some old grass and moved some dirt to make room for my new patio and dog run going in on Monday.

Bucket down or up when tractor is off and stored.

Makes sense. It’s all connected and using the same hydraulic fluid.

    PFL1242 vs. PFL2042 for a Kubota L2501 Tractor

I have the PFL1242s. Got them with the purchase of the tractor for a steal since the dealer screwed up my paperwork. I have been happy with them so far but haven't lifted too much yet. I did lift a pallet of flooring in my shop that was about 1300lbs just a few inches off the ground just long...

Bucket down or up when tractor is off and stored.

I always store mine down on the ground with the cutting edge close to level with the ground. I store my Tractor indoors. My neighbor keeps his loader up in the air and bucket dumped down. Always seems wrong to me.

    Show me your Refueling Setup

I found a 30 gallon transfer tank toolbox on CL for $40. It came with a small automotive fuel pump that was used to pump into a trucks main fuel tank. I’m thinking the pump it came with won’t be strong enough to use as a fuel station so I am looking for something different. Anyone have...

Best place to put lift chain on bucket of loader

I wouldn’t attach anything to the loader arms directly. Look into bolt on hooks for your bucket or pallet forks. You don’t want to risk damaging your loader.

    Rear Blade Operating Advice

I didn't know about top n tilt when I bought the tractor so I have no rear remotes and no 3rd function to run anything fancy off of. I can't find a gauge wheel for sale anywhere but I think that would solve a lot of my issues.

    Rear Blade Operating Advice

Yea I really wish I would have got a top n tilt. I am going to have to do a lot of back and forth adjusting the tilt to get a decent crown. There is plenty of loose gravel on top. There was a fresh load dropped right before we bought the house in December. Most of what I need to do is spread and...

    Rear Blade Operating Advice

I have a 72in rear blade on my new L2501. I picked it up for snow removal and gravel driveway maintenance. I've never run one before and I haven't had a whole lot of time to mess with it but did get a 6in snowfall that I got to try it out on. I was struggling to plow the snow without digging...

    New Member From WA

Hello everyone, I’m in Eastern Washington. I just bought a new L2501 HST 4WD. With the tractor I got R4 Tires the LA525 loader, Landpride 72in rear blade, PFL1242 pallet forks and an RCR1260 rotary cutter. The dealer also fluid filled the tires and added some auxiliary work lights as part of the...
