Yes, Trailer was to short for the tractor. It was rated for 6000 lbs but I had the box scraper on the tongue. I think it made my front wheels lite on the road. Lesson learned the hard way!

Put a nut on it and tighten it to the other nut, you won't lose it.

I didn't want to lose the tractor to the dealer for some unknown time. For some reason my finish mower PTO caused it to leak. I thought it looked really easy to do so I considered doing it myself. Egressman
