    BH75 bucket cylinder pin removal?

Well, I broke my big toe. My hammering moved it less than 1/16. I tried to spin it with the wrench. Liquid Wrench and WD40 haven't been helpful My hammer isn't big enough, I guess.

    BH75 bucket cylinder pin removal?

Thanks for asking the question. I'm having the same problem a decade later. That Square Side made me thing I was doing something wrong -- like the pin was threaded into the bucket link somehow. But now, I have the confidence to bang the shit out of it. :)

Discovering Cylinder seals for BH75. Pricing discrepancies.

Thanks for the idea of looking up the local hydraulic shop. I didn't think there would be one accessible here. But a nice lady came over to pick Lychee yesterday and highly recommended them. Her dad has a construction business.

B2100 starting clicks many times before starting.

There are several excellent posts on this problem, the constant clicking of the starter solenoid when trying to start your tractor. In my case it is a B3030. Sadly, I tried to follow all the instructions and ended up wasting a lot of time -- my fault, not that of those who tried to offer help...

Transmission filter will not come off

I actually went through the middle of the filter so I would be sure not to damage the attachment threads. I could only get 1/8 of a turn for each hole I drilled, but the filter medal remained intact on each hole, probably because I used a large diameter screwdriver. Thanks for the time you...

Transmission filter will not come off

Who doesn't want to know how it finally worked out. Used a 15/16" drill to go completely through the filter. Had a large Philips that would go all the way through. Had a large diameter box wrench that added a lever length of about 14". Was able to get the filter to finally move. Had to repeat...

Transmission filter will not come off

A B3030HST I cannot get the transmission filter to loosen up and come off. I have destroyed it in the process so the option of just leaving it in place is no longer available. It is the HH670-37710 filter. (suction filter) The one on the right side of the tractor that is parallel to the...

    Does UDT fluid seal leaks?

THANKS! I wasn't looking forward to having to get it repaired. I do recognize that I am behind though on periodic maintenance.

    Does UDT fluid seal leaks?

The pivot on my left front axle developed a leak that looked really bad on the garage floor. I filled the front axle back up with some Super UDT fluid. It took perhaps a pint. After waiting for the required 10 minutes, and cleaning off some dirt that was stuck to the pivot, I cycled the...

OPC CB blows. Operator Protection Circuit

SUCCESS! It was the independent PTO lever switch. (not the PTO select switch although the part number for both is the same.) It took so long to fix because I kind of wanted to support the local business. I paid for 2 day shipping $36 for a $20 switch and it still took two weeks to arrive...

OPC CB blows. Operator Protection Circuit

Yeah, only 2. That's why I'm so baffled. And why I'm so concerned with a short in between. Thanks tooljunkie I've tested the wires with an ohm-meter for that circuit in as many ways as I can think of, which is probably only a fraction of the possibilities (sigh), things work like they're...

OPC CB blows. Operator Protection Circuit

Taking off the seat was as painful as I remembered it to be. I have a bad Independent PTO safety switch. It wasn't even installed finger tight, so maybe its a good thing this happened It isn't at all clear though how a bad switch causes the fuse to blow. After all when the switch is...

OPC CB blows. Operator Protection Circuit

OK, I've removed the OPC controller, it is not attached anywhere. I took off the dash, found some new rat chews on those wires and repaired them. I checked 4 of the safety switches. (not as thoroughly as the shop manual suggest though) I didn't want to go through the hassle of taking out the...

Thanks Darren, that's a hint worth its weight in gold to me.

OPC CB blows. Operator Protection Circuit

Thanks Darren: I've started down that path. I was hoping the problem was in one of the PTO switches so that I could get the tractor up to the barn and out of the rain while I looked further. Unfortunately, even with the PTO off, as soon as the switch was turned on the fuse blew. That does...

OPC CB blows. Operator Protection Circuit

You guys are getting way off topic. :^> I will vouch for those ultrasonic mouse chasers. We moved into a brand new house and the mice moved in with us. Picked up a 3 pack of those ultra-sonic transmitters. The mice that had already moved in found "safe areas" which were laden with traps, so...

OPC CB blows. Operator Protection Circuit

JimL: Thanks. I find my troubleshooting book schematics to be difficult to read at times. I appreciate the input. WRT attracting the rats "Feathers" has a point, but (so far) they eat the poison before they chew on the wires. Of course, it may have been the same rat and he got terrified one...

OPC CB blows. Operator Protection Circuit

The 5AMP OPC circuit breaker has blown twice. After replacing it the first time, things worked for several months -- until I noticed that getting out of the driver's seat with the PTO engaged did not shut the B3030 off. I "vowed" to fix that some day. About a month later, the OPC CB blew...
