    looking for a plow

I use to buy machinery at a consignment auction, put tires on it, parts, paint, and resell it. I enjoyed it as a hobby and met some nice ppl. For 2 years I had great luck ppl keeping in contact with me showing up on time ect. The last 2 years now just every doh duh under the sun must have...

    looking for a plow

A wanted ad on facebook or market place might help. I never thought much of " lazy ads" but after getting sick of looking every single day and night I posted an ad for a certain tractor I was looking for. I asked for a picture or 2, and breif details. I actually had ppl respond. 1/5 actually...

    looking for a plow

They make 1 bottom trailer plows already. They might save you even more money or might be do able pulling. Biggest thing is the trip mechanism. If it doesn't work more than likely it's old grease in there or a busted spring

    looking for a plow

The sad thing is at local consignment lots old steel wheel stuff is going for 20.00 to the scrapers. If there's Amish or food plot guys there maybe something goes higher and to a home. I saved these 2 items for 100.00 in a fence line.

    looking for a plow

I play farmer with my antique equipment. I bought an old plow for 100.00 and refurbished it. Culters really help chop up debris, or pecut the ground. Plowing is an art, about speed, soil conditions, and set up of the plow. There's local contests at shows to see how nice, and straight someone...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

That does look very nice and easy to use. I usually just shoveled what the county threw in the ditch, spread it in the driveway then scuffed it up with a drag. The box blade did a nice job but it's a multiple pass and hour tool. Breaking everything loose, then smoothing it out. I should've took...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I had a cheap auctioned rear blade and didn't really like it at the time. It did okay grading and moving snow but I came across this older kk box blade and liked it that it was heavier built for the hook ups. I used it in snow and like I can actually pull the snow away vs just window it. Looking...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Box bladed the driveway. 1st time doing it since I bought the place, and 1st time really using the box blade for it's intentions. Practice and taking your time is the name of the game. I was shocked how much it looked like I had gravel brought in.

Folding rotary cutters, flex wings and bat wings.

You got the names pretty down pat. I was a county worker for 5 years (yes the stereotype stories you hear are accurate) they switched from using the flail choppers on arms to batwings for the hills and ditches I believe theirs was a woods brand. I borrowed a neighbors a few times to cut my...

You guys should get into telemarketing.

I plowed snow professionally for 8 years using a gehl skidloader. I really liked that. Like you said nimble and I like you can see the bucket. One time the company demoed a hydraulics v blade I really liked that.

Lol I feel the rear blade is pretty heavy its an old dearborn. It's 6ft. I'd like a 7ft but even the 6 played with the tractor a bit.

Mine is a 2010 700. I absolutely love it and kind of sad its getting up there for considering upgrading. I had a honda 300ex, and when I bought the farm bought a bayou 300 that was a money pit. I sold that and bought the tbx. At first I didn't think I needed a 700, automatic push button 4x4, efi...

Good idea. I like the atv, it's fast and nimble but you can't roll the snow pile. This would've been the 1st year out of 4 I wouldn't have been able to bust through some snow. Id'd still like the bucket to be able to back drag snow if I had a 3pt blower.

Being " end of season " I'm starting to see 6ft blowers going for 500 to 2000. The ones for 1000 don't look all that bad but I agree off season and one that needs rebuilding you can get s pretty good deal. My rear blade I got super cheap at an auction. It needed new bearings, but was super...

It was the 1st winter with the lx2610. The fuel pump went out on the atv and we had a major storm that caused 4ft drifts so I'm glade I had it. It's still considered winter here and 2 weeks ago a tornado touched down but I'm thinking in my head for next winter already. This winter was a lot of...

Snow skis on a box blade.

The shoes would be removed for earth moving. I'm referring to picking up gravel moving snow. As mentioned I have a rear blade also and don't prefer it. I either wax the box blade or brush on old oil and the snow slides right off.

Snow skis on a box blade.

Not sure about that. Only had 1 major storm this year. Instead of single digits and a foot of snow on the ground beginning of February there was a tornado just south of me. So maybe we'll get snow in June. All joking aside yeah I'm not too concerned until next season. I'm thinking about pushers...

Snow skis on a box blade.

It's my 1st season with the tractor for snow. Plowing snow professionally for about 10 years with a skidloader and 1 ton truck so the lx2610 is kind of down grade in size for my personal needs. I have a rear blade, the box blade and loader for the job and been playing around what workes for me...
