Sorry about it taking so long to post what the problem was with the knocking, but it turned out to be loose bolts on the fan to water pump. The dealer, Lanford Equipment in Marble falls TX., did an outstanding job of coming right over, 50 miles, and picking the tractor up and bringing it back...

My L3200 has 4 hours on it and began to knock loudly today. It is coming from the engine and seems to be toward the front. no smoking, missing, and no unususal guage readings. starts easy and runs strong. knock increases,decreases with engine speed, but is not constant. oil level full. Heavy...
